Spent the weekend here with my fiancé for her 30th and a friend's wedding, simply amazing. Very peaceful and beautiful place to stay in the country. Also very private, didn't see a soul other than deer, pheasants and rabbits the whole time at the place. Tom was also very responsive and helpful. Instructions very clear and in depth. Would recommend and we'll hopefully be back.

Friendly hosts and lovely views, really pleasant stay if you plan to stay a night. Would recommend longer as the drive in isn’t really suitable for small cars, but for one night was a very peaceful, pleasant experience.

My partner and I stayed here 14th-17th April 2025. We wanted to get away for a few days, somewhere quiet and secluded where we could relax and recharge. And the place did just that. Beautiful surroundings. Frankie and Jonathan were very lovely, welcoming and friendly, always on hand should we have needed them. Even had to ask if they had paracetamol one evening, and they brought it over for us, thank you. The cabin itself was gorgeous, and the hot tub was divine, and they had it ready for us every evening. Everything was catered for, tea, coffee, cereals etc. We will definitely be coming back for if you’ll have us. 10/10.

We had a wonderfully relaxing staycation at The Cabin at Highfield Park for a few days. There was a surprise birthday/welcome bag for my wife Nenette which was a very thoughtful touch- it made her birthday week feel extra special, especially with the added goodies for our wee furrbaby, Rosie! The hot tub was perfect for unwinding, and the whole experience was simply fabulous. The place made us feel like we're just right at home. We truly had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!

My stay at this glamping pod was absolutely incredible! Nestled away on a serene farm, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin itself was cozy and beautifully designed, providing all the comforts I could ask for. The highlight of my trip was definitely the hot tub; soaking under the stars while enjoying the peaceful surroundings was simply magical. The privacy of the location made it even more special, allowing me to fully unwind and connect with nature. I can't recommend this spot enough—it's a hidden gem for anyone looking to recharge!

A spotlessly clean cabin in a beautiful location. Photos are accurate of what to expect, a home from home with a hot tub and morning visits from squirrels! A short drive from otterburn and other local villages. Set in beautiful surroundings and not overlooked by other holiday makers. 10/10, we will be coming again!!

What an incredible Airbnb 🤩 Troy’s place is the most peaceful place we’ve ever stayed, I booked a night for my boyfriend’s birthday and we both just loved it. The riverside views are amazing, the hot tub is huge and the whole place is just spotless. The bed is super comfortable and the electric blinds make waking up beside the river even more serene as you just press a button and you can see nature from bed! Not far to drive to get to supermarkets etc as well, the location is great. To top it all off, we ate our dinner on the decking outside overlooking the river, and a seal swam past!!

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you again for such an amazing stay.

Sharon and David are such wonderful hosts, extremely helpful and such lovely people always willing to help. The cabin was beautiful and cosy with stunning views and lovely walks nearby. The property is perfect for a weekend away, being in a great location where you will not be disturbed, it was so peaceful and calming but also having Llangollen near by for various options for food and drink for a day out. Sharon and David also provided a list of endless activities and sights to see that are near by which was extremely helpful and they are definitely worth visiting! Would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back again soon!

Claire and her family were very friendly and The Cabin made you feel relaxed as soon as we walked in. Claire has a great Cabin which we would love to go back too. The little extras just made the stay that bit more special. Great Place to relax.

We had an incredible couple of nights at Ash Cabin. The cabin had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Amazing scenery and peaceful surroundings. A highlight of our stay was sitting out on the deck with a book and a cup of tea, listening to the sheep and the birds. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful place, very clean and an enclosed garden for our dog. We had a lovely time and could not have asked for a better place to spend time as a family. Thank you for a lovely time.

Lovely, cosy, spotlessly clean and comfortable wee cabin with everything you might need to have a good break. The location is perfect for visiting all the local attractions and Chris made some excellent suggestions and gave good advice about local amenities, including parking, etc which enhanced our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

A wonderful stay in the cabin. Spotlessly clean, super homely, great amenities and comfortable sofa & bed. Lots of garden space for our pup to run around. Very central if exploring Cornwall by car. We had a lovely few days at Sue Hut and really enjoyed our stay. The place was spotless, nicely prepared for our arrival, and felt so welcoming. We were greeted with complimentary milk and water, and there were even treats waiting for our pup—which was such a thoughtful touch. The hut had everything we needed, including dog bowls and soft, clean sleeping blankets for our furry friend. The cozy decorations throughout the space made it feel warm and homely, and everything smelled fresh and inviting. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into hosting here. We felt really well looked after and would happily come back!

This property exceeded my expectations. Located in such a peaceful setting amongst the trees the cabin was so warm and cosy had everything we needed. In walking distance to the village had a lovely meal at the clockhouse gorgeous food! Will definitely come stay here again!

We stayed at Orchard Retreat for 2 nights and it was a perfect getaway - the cabin itself was immaculate, and we particularly loved the outdoor bath. Richard as a host was super friendly, responsive and couldn’t do enough for us. We’ll definitely be booking again ☺️

Gorgeous place, everything was spotless. The hot tub and sauna were so nice and peaceful. Great hosts who replied very quickly.

Super Easter weekend getaway with the kids. The mobile home is as described, spotless, really well equipped (kitchen etc is a home from home) and communication with Laurence was great - offering flexibility on check in and check out etc. The park itself is great, although we didn’t explore it as much as we could as there is just so much to do in the area and Kelling Heath is a perfect base. Only drawback we found was no WiFi and our phone provider seemed to have absolutely no coverage in the spot where the mobile home is (max 2G), so we were almost without any internet. Nice in many ways to disconnect but did make things complicated for planning our days out with young kids etc. Not a major deal though. All in all a really great stay - kids are asking when we can go back!

Rachel was a great host. Brilliant communication and clear instructions for check in. the cabin was just as described and perfect for our family of four plus pooch. Quiet, warm and cosy...comfy sofa and nice non-stick pots and pans :) Doggy welcome pack was a lovely touch! The holiday village as a wider environment is a clean and peaceful place, play park for the kids and lovely local walks. Site shop is great for emergency essentials. Shame the pub at the top of the hill burned down..I remember it as a kid when I came to the Lodges...hopefully it will be rebuilt one day! Cafe looked great, we didn't manage to go in to eat but a brilliant view from the decking :) Thank you Rachel, we really enjoyed our stay! ;)

Wow! What a fantastic lodge and fantastic hosts. The views of the reservoir are simply stunning. Will and Ella couldn’t do enough for us. We had the best time and will be returning in the future for sure. Thanks again guys
