Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

1.5 miles down a well maintained dirt road is a little slice of heaven on Brewer Lake. 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a large kitchen and dining area, living room, along with washer & dryer. Outside offers a wrap around deck, plenty of seating to enjoy your meals/coffee outside while looking at the lake. Stairs down connect the path leading to the water where 2 kayaks and a firepit are waiting.

Our open concept 2 bedroom home nestled in the woods has the charm of a cottage but the comforts of home. Morning coffee on the porch is often accompanied by sightings of deer in the large field out the front door and hummingbirds busy at the feeder.
