We were looking for a total peaceful break, clear instructions on how to use amenities, hot tub was really clean and really warm so enjoyed hours relaxing in it! Thank you Ainslie ❤️

I'd highly recommend Eleanor's place for those looking for great accomodation in a great location. It went beyond my expectations and she was a great host. It's been added to the list of places i'd return too!

Great location, helpful and responsive host. Comfortable and cosy cottage, with all the bits and pieces needed.

We had a wonderful family break! We loved the outdoor space and the beds were super comfortable! We made use of the hot tub and BBQ and enjoyed days out to Stonehaven and St Cyrus beach.

Would just like to say thank you for my stay me and my family loved it spicily the love for cars and stuff cars what was clear throw out the house as someone who’s into cars my self 10/10 for that one small thing can be tricky to get parked sometimes tho that has nothing to do with host just the street but 100% does not affect the stay just to be mindful other than that 10/10 we place really is thank you so much will be back again!!!

We had a lovely holiday in Boat of Garten with our kids (7 and 2). The cottage was perfect for our needs - plenty of space for the four of us, but still cosy, and within easy reach of everything the areas offers. We actually didn't end up using the garden much as we were out and about a lot but it's gorgeous and opens right onto the woods behind which was very magical for two city kids. Anderson's restaurant right next door was a bit of a bonus, too, since we could have dinner with the kids and then be home in 30 seconds! The sauna was a fabulous suprise (they hadn't installed it when we booked so we only found out on arrival) and we enjoyed using that after long days walking and carrying our toddler on our shoulders! Laura was super friendly and responsive, including posting my car key back to me after I stupidly left it in the bedside drawer. All in all, a great experience, and would thoroughly Laura's place, particularly to families.

Amazing host, who completely made us feel at home. Couldn't of asked for better communication and as for the property , unbelievable. Prime location, and to have an extra warm sauna, extra cold cold plunge, working jacuzzi and games room is almost unheard of. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Oli

Loved this fisherman’s cottage. Bigger than I had anticipated and a real home from home with everything you might need provided. Comfy beds! Appreciated the enclosed back garden for my two dogs to get a quick toilet break, although the beach across the road meant most times we wanted to head there again and enjoy the amazing beach views! Brett was very helpful and always communicated quickly. This trip was too short - we will be back! So much to see and do in the surrounding area.

Laura’s place was wonderful. She was also an accommodating host, which we really appreciated. The place was beautiful and completely spotless. We really recommend ❤️

What an incredible getaway from the world! Very idyllic, country living. The home felt super cosy and homely. Eggs from the chickens and marmalade in the kitchen waiting for our arrival was a lovely touch! Beds were all very comfortable and we all had great night sleep each night. We had a fantastic stay here! The cottage is lovely and immaculate! Rhona was really proactive with communication and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. The location is beautiful! Just a few steps to a lovely and peaceful beach and 10 minutes walk into town. We hope to be back!

What a fabulous little find, cosy cottage fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Bed was so comfortable had a great nights sleep. Great location for shops and food. House was spotlessly clean and fab complimentary toiletries. Host was good communicator and was good to know they were available and on hand if needed which we didnt as everything was perfect. Good base for exploring Ballater , Braemar and the surrounding area including Lochnagar.

We had a great holliday. Location and the house were both perfect! The house was spotless and everything you need is there. Lots of great walks from the cottage. We all (family with 3 kids) had a wonderfull holiday.

My family and I had a great stay at Amelias place. the kids especially loved the little play room and location is great for Crieff town centre and all of the surrounding areas

A clean, well equipped, home, in a quiet location, with easy access to many places in the northern Highlands. would stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Cornelius's place. The location was great, cottage was comfy and warm (we loved the wood stove, kept the whole place warm). Our only regret was that we only had three nights there. There is so much to do you could easily spend much longer there. Thanks. Andy, Zara and Ayesha

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely little details in the decor and a super powerful shower. Kathryn was friendly and helpful. Very happy to recommend the cottage.

Really lovely little cottage, very peaceful location and stunning views out the back. Kitchen beatiful and stocked with the essentials (salt, pepper, oil, plenty of pots and pans). Only slight downside would be a very squeaky bed, comfortable enough but noisy.

Everything was amazing. Lovely home and area. Mairi was always proactive snd friendly if i had any questions or needed anything. Would definitely recommend the place to friends and family and hope to get the chance to stay here again.

We did get a little lost once we entered the estate as there was roads forking in two directions but a quick call to Gill had us back on track. Beware of the track leading up to Garden Cottage as there are a lot of pot holes. It was all worth it once we got to the cottage though. The cottage was clean and spacious with a lovely log fire that we took advantage of everyday. Plenty walks around the estate, pity we couldn't walk up to Forglen House but you get pretty views from the river.
