The San Marcos River Haus is the perfect family getaway. Enjoy a private, gated retreat on 2 acres, the River Haus is the perfect blend of luxury living and rustic charm. The property has plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces for the whole family to be together or get quiet time if needed. Quiet times from 10:00 pm-10:00 am please. We would love for you to visit and have a wonderful time but no hooting and hollering outside after 10:00 pm. We respect our neighbors rights to get good rest.

Our space functions part of the time as an artist residency location for musicians, writers, and visual artists who are guests of Commerce Gallery. We've recently renovated and curated this home with the specific purpose to inspire and foster creativity in a uniquely comfortable setting. The Package Store

Relax at this early 20th century former package store that now nestles among post oaks and pines on our family ranch in Bastrop County. The Package Store was built by my grandfather in the early 1930’s overlooking the Brazos River in the East Texas community of Washington-on-the-Brazos. “Old Washington,” as it is locally known, was the site of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence from Mexico on March 2, 1836.
