Great little cottages in a central location. Wendy, her family and employees were awesome and friendly hosts from the moment we arrived until we headed out.

Was a wonderful 4 nights! Perfect spot right in the middle of garner and lost maples. Host was very helpful and always responsive. If you’re looking for a really beautiful place to stay between hikes this is it! Will definitely be recommending.

The house and property was GREAT! Clean, and home-ly. Jayne was very helpful before and during the visit. I'd be tempted to make my visit a routine; it was such a relaxing atmosphere. Be sure to arrive before sunset!

The cutest house!! Very clean and had everything we needed and more. Leah was quick in responding for any questions we had. Would stay here again, we can’t wait for next year!

Beautiful place. I did know it was going to be small, but it was even smaller than expected. I did not love the fact that we had to take all of our trash with us when we left. But other than that it was very comfortable and relaxing! Hot tub was awesome, and star gazing was great.

Pictures don't do it justice!!! Nice, cozy cabin with everything you need to truly relax for a few days. Great location next to small mountain/hill away from the crowded cabins next to the river. Pool and entertainment area (bar/lounge/restaurant) are just footsteps away.

Wendy and her husband were great hosts. They were both very responsive and helpful during our stay. The cabin was clean and the location was peaceful. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here and our time at the river. We would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

This was our second stay at Kim's place and we thoroughly enjoyed it. we love the location. It is remote but that's what we like, close enough to town to float the river and eat at a cafe. Great place to get away from the city life.

This place exceeded our expectations! The peace and quiet that we experienced was unmatched!! My family of four and our dog, enjoyed every moment and every part of the property. My kids were never inside!! Great place to decompress from daily life activities. Also, no phone or Internet service was tranquility for my wife and I. We'll definitely be coming back!!! We LOVED it so much that nobody wanted to leave!!! One of my favorite places that my family has been too. Don't forget to say hi to Frank!!

It was clean, lots of games, quiet and comfortable. When choosing to stay here consider bringing your own pans, other than that it was wonderful and we’d stay again .

Great little rustic cabin very close to Garner State Park. Awesome launching pad for our Hill Country adventure that I highly recommend. Our family loved the cozy & clean place!

This is my 1st choice for staying overnight in Nueces Canyon. These accommodations burst with creativity, and the price-point is what I’m looking for.

Loved staying here, was quite and comfortable. Best place to visit in town is the cute shops and the swimming hole.

We had a wonderful stay! Check in was a breeze and the views were amazing. The area was so peaceful and the cabin was perfect! Everything you need is there for you. **** Can I give more stars? **** Absolutely and an amazing experience. Very easy to access, both the gate code and house code. We purchased a bag of apple corn in town for the deer and spread it around the lower fire pit area and had a blast watching the animals visiting to eat. Leah was very fast with answers to questions. We would love to stay here again.

The cabin is well furnished, clean and exactly as stated in description and in Airbnb photos. Bring some outdoor camping chairs to sit out in the front to enjoy the wonderful front flat huge yard or use their relaxing swings in the front porch. Parking is simple, entrance instructions are clear. The cabin is in a great location; close driving distance to Leakey downtown and swimming holes. The host is extremely responsive. The cabin is super comfortable

What a great cabin for my family of 4 during our weekend getaway to Lost Maples. At first I was a bit nervous about a 12 and 5-year-old being entertained enough with no internet, but we had a great time picking out movies from the vast amount available (and I understand internet is being installed soon). The porch swing, and hammock went to great use in the evenings, and for my morning cup of coffee. We played games, made s’mores, and of course had a wonderful time in Lost Maples. We arrived well after dark on Friday, and I couldn’t find the instructions that told me which cabin was ours, so we had a hard time reading the signs. However, had I been able to find the instructions, we would’ve had no problem finding the cabin immediately. The cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we needed (we even made breakfast and dinner while there). If you’re wondering if this is a great getaway for your family – it is!

My boyfriend and I booked this cozy cabin for a quick getaway weekend for our anniversary and had a lovely time. The hosts are extremely communicative and kind! Even left us a little anniversary note. Everything was super clean and just as described. The location is great. Close to garner state park and the town of leakey Texas. Host also gave us a map with some spots to go to for swimming/ floating the river which was very helpful. I saw some reviews complaining about the noise of cars since it is located next to a busy road but we were honestly unbothered by the noise and it wasn’t at all too busy. Over all we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend for someone wanting a small quiet cabin vacation.

This place is amazing just like the owners! We came for the weekend and could have stayed longer! The house was everything described and more! They made very pleasant to stay at with all the little extras...we will definitely be back!'

This was our second time staying here. The first time was several years ago, before the add-on renovation. I absolutely love the charm of this cabin, and I don't think you can beat the location! We are already looking at booking to stay here again next year!
