Houten huisjes in Cartagena

10/10 HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!! The photos do not do this place justice at all!!!!!! From the beginning of the property to the end, there is a host of little spaces where traditional Colombian architecture meets family style. It was my birthday and I was travelling solo, but at Antonio’s, I didn’t feel alone, they made me feel apart of their family! Fresh breakfast every AM, and there are groundskeepers who give hotel service by way of making the bed and cleaning the room everyday! The only downside is it is about 20 minutes from Cartagena, costing about $25 one way… so budget wisely if you do not rent a car! It is a private property, so many drivers do not go all the way into the property but instead, drop you off a few miles before…BUT Antonio provided driver resources which made travel much easier. This is definitely the place for you if you want some peace and quiet every night before entering the city, etc., or even just enjoy a beautiful property like me.

El lugar es hermoso, nuestra cabaña con piscina privada fue espectacular. La playa algunos dias estaba sucia, tanto dentro como fuera del mar, cuando preguntamos si la limpiarían dijeron que solo fuera del mar lo que realmente no paso hasta el día siguiente. Estaban en proceso de cambio de carta de comida a un concepto italiano, no muy bien ajustado para el ambiente y los productos no de la mejor calidad. Vale la pena ir solo por una noche disfrutar la cabaña y la playa (si esta limpia) y regresar al dia siguiente. Las habitaciones son cómodas, limpias, cuidadas, no tienen tv pero si aire y ventilador

Definitivamente la hospitalidad del equipo de trabajo hizo de nuestra estancia un momento muy agradable, Sara y Edwin excelentes anfitriones con toda seguridad volveremos a visitarlos.

Our stay was amazing . Rubby, Pedro and Divinson were so accomodating and kind. Rubby sent clear instructions and walked you through the check in process and all that is needed. If you love nature and need a quiet place or a break from life this is the place! there is a small beach nearby which was a nice touch. Be sure to take enough water and groceries :) We loved seeing the goats every morning and evening! Would love to go back! 10/10 experience
