⭐⭐🌟⭐⭐ Exactly what it says on the tin - like staying at an acquaintance's guesthouse. - Host was super responsive; was reserved & checked-in in<30m of my reservation request. - The actual in-house staff mostly only spoke Portuguese & Espanol, but a combination of google translate, charades, & helpful fellow guests made everything easy enough. - A tad noisy with all hustle & bustle coming from the surrounding guests, buildings, & streets (i.e I wouldn't take any busines meetings from there), but you could hear a pin drop the second it rolls over to the city's quiet hours. - The room & various bathrooms were all exceptionally clean. (The linens had some minor historical stains, but were freshly cleaned. To be expected, but I mention it as some folks are 'particular' about that sort of thing.) The washer & dryer seemed really steep at $5 for each (there's a small clothesline, but it seemed largely in use). However, that appears to be the going rate in Europe, so I can't complain.

Comfortable room with a nice bed. Huge and beautiful bathroom that was nice to clean up in after a long wet day on the Camino.

Bonita casa, confortable y muy bien equipada. Tiene un precioso y amplio jardín con una piscina que para nosotros fue suficiente. Se trata de una piscina circular de 120 cm. de profundidad aproximadamente. El porche con la barbacoa es una maravilla. Pasamos allí buena parte de nuestra estancia aprovechando que no había insectos molestos como mosquitos o avispas. Existe la opción de dar de comer a Kalifa, que es el caballo que está en el recinto adyacente. A nosotros nos encantó. Es muy tranquilo y muy dócil. La ubicación de la casa es en un pueblo muy tranquilo. El acceso es totalmente independiente y se puede guardar el coche. Tanto el jardín como la piscina son totalmente privados. La ubicación es excelente para visitar sitios muy interesantes como Tomar, con el impresionante Convento de Cristo, el bonito pueblo de Obidos o el monasterio de Batalha. En un radio de poco más de una hora están sitios como Lisboa, Coimbra, Nazaré. Henri ha sido un anfitrión accesible y muy amable.

We hebben genoten van de plek, het huis heeft een wijds uitzicht, is heerlijk koel en de hangmat onder de bomen is super. Any is een lieve vrouw, heel gastvrij en attent! De peertjes van de fruitbomen waren heerlijk 😍

Yelizaveta is very friendly and communicate . It was great for a one night stay. Beautiful surroundings and lots of horses which they really look after and we love that

A Quinta é facil de encontrar e a acessibilidade é boa. Á chegada fomos recebidos com um cabaz da horta e mais um miminho gastronómico que fez as nossas delicias. Os anfitreões foram amáveis e a nossa experiência foi óptima!. A casa está impecávelmente decorada, a cozinha muito bem equipada, as suites (todos os quartos) apelativos e agradáveis. A zonas exteriores e envolventes muito bem cuidadadas. Fomos para um retiro em família, procuravamos divertirmo-nos e desfrutarmos da companhia uns dos outros num sitio bonito e prasenteiro. Foi exatamente isso que obtivemos senão mais. Ficamos muito satisfeitos com a nossa escolha e recomendamos vivamente a Quinta do Casal da Aveleiras. Nota 5!

We’ve just come back from a wonderful week at Cintia & Carel’s beautiful property! They greeted us like family, and were always happy to help with anything- from how to work the air con, to recommendations for days out- they were always super responsive via text and nothing felt like any trouble! They were also really thoughtful- putting up some balloons on arrival as we mentioned celebrating our daughter’s GCSE’s, it was a lovely touch. They also left us to enjoy the place uninterrupted, understanding the need to recharge and relax- and oh my gosh- the place is STUNNING! super clean and homely inside (with everything you need) and outside is fabulous! The pool is amazing, the outside kitchen a treat, and the views are incredible. It’s even nicer than their already beautiful photos. We went for one day out to Óbidos (go there!) but honestly felt happiest enjoying relaxing at this gorgeous home they have created. We will most certainly be back! Thank you Cintia & Carel ❤️

El lugar es increíble, está en una ubicación tranquila y aunque seamos muchos el ruido no molesta a nadie. La piscina está muy limpia, la terraza con barbacoa es lo mejor del lugar y la casa en sí es muy acogedora, sin duda repetiría!
