The Barge was built in 1999 and was our family home for 10 years in Sallins. It is easy to get to by car, and by train it's only 30 minutes from Dublin city centre. Everything you need is very close, within walking distance. Breakfast cafe, pub, barge trips, fine dining and gastropub restaurants, grocery store, walking trails, and the train station is a four minute walk. You’ll treasure your time at this memorable place located 2.5 km from the centre of Naas town and 2km to the train station where trains frequently run to Dublin city centre (15-30 minutes depending on the service used) Convenient to the N7 with the Red Cow Roundabout 15 minutes drive away and Dublin Airport approximately 40 minutes. Enjoy a trip to the prestige Kildare village which is also approximately a 20 min drive from the property. Property is cleaned every 3 days for longer stays.

Daars North Cottage in the Countryside

Daars North Cottage is located in the peaceful countryside 3 miles from Straffan, Clane and Sallins Village. The cottage is compact and clean with two double rooms and a single room. The Cottage is very secure set behind our main house. As the cottage is based at our home we would be delighted to help out with local knowledge and places of interest. Easily accessible from Dublin (30 mins) by train and bus service (50 mins). We have 3 friendly dogs here so unfortunately NO Dogs allowed

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Our private, fenced cabin nestled on our farm's edge, offering stunning mountain, city, and sea views with complete privacy. Your cabin features a hot shower, coffee machine, filtered water, kettle, gas heater, electric blanket, and shared full kitchen access. Unwind in our sauna or hot tub for extra fee. Feel free to interact with our farm animals( horse , alpaca, sheep , goats) A direct bus to the city center is just 350m away. Not suitable for infants or the infirm.

Drummond Tower / Castle

Victoria Drummond Tower was built as a Folly Tower in the victorian period in 1858 by William Drummond Delap as part of Monasterboice House & Demesne. The tower is regarded as a folly tower built in remembrance of his late mother. Recently restored into a small habitable dwelling and is now available for rental for selected months of the year. A very unique and enjoyable place to stay with a vast range of local & historical amenities at your disposal.
