I’ve stayed at Teddi’s place twice while I was playing field hockey in nearby Frederica. What I love about her house is that I get private, off street parking, my own entrance, a lounge with books and library quality furnishings, and a cozy, extremely well appointed room with my own bathroom. She has a cafe cart with snacks, fridge, microwave, and Keurig for guests (and chargers! lol). Towels are so fluffy and soft, and the bed is to die for. After a long day of field hockey the large shower with seat was divine, and I settled into the comforts with tea and my book. The DE turf is a quick and beautifully scenic 40 minute drive away. Climate control in the room is guest controlled so I was very comfortable. Her house is a very peaceful respite and I look forward to staying there next year!

This was the first time we stayed in a private suite within someone’s home. We weren’t sure how this would go but from the minute Mina greeted us, we knew we made the right choice! Mina was so welcoming, and her home and our private suite (bed/bath) were wonderful! Super clean, super comfortable, and super stylish! The entire home was just bathed in a peaceful feeling. And the pool…how nice to have pool access! Mina’s two dogs, Daisy and Bowser, are so well behaved and if you’re up for it, they do love a good rub behind the ears and some extra attention. If not, they are perfectly happy to give you space as well. The location is close to a lot of cute towns and amenities (Wegman’s is a short drive, as is downtown Bel Air and Aberdeen). We will definitely look to stay with Mina when we return to the area.

very much enjoyed our stay... complete with complimentary fresh bread, bacon/eggs, and jar of farm fresh milk! bedrooms clean and comfortable; really only 3 private bdrms, other is open floor space for air mattresses; full kitchen clean, tho could use a few more real coffee mugs! :) nice place to stay, not far from local activities; nice park/playground/picnic/fishing/boating area nearby (Muddy Run Park), and a must stop: Evans Chocolate Candies (Willow Street, PA, just up the road); thanks to Host David for prompt and friendly communications!

This was a prime location for staying in Newark. Super close to the highway. Not far away from downtown Newark. The downstairs is very quiet. There is plenty of room and the bed was comfortable. The couch was cozy. Legit desk for working. Would stay at again for sure.

My family and I loved staying at Sharon’s place - the beds are comfortable and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay while visiting the area with 2 kids. The Speckled Hen across the street was fantastic - great food, very convenient and we especially loved the private playground around the back. I didn’t love how busy the road was, but overall it was a pretty minor flaw. We would absolutely stay here again.

The house was very clean and well -stocked with most of the items you would need for an extended stay. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful. West Chester was a great area with plenty of things to do and places to eat. The proximity to the University made it a little busy traffic-wise but not overly so. We loved that a herd of deer regularly bedded down or walked through the back yard.

Eugenie and Keith were awesome hosts. When we arrived they were enjoying the firepit which smelled wonderful, and because this unit is a guesthouse, we were able to meet them at check-in which was pretty cool. They were respectful of us being there and didn't bother us outside a reminder of the placement of the thermostat (it was a chilly weekend). The space was super welcoming and cozy! Upon entry, there's an Oasis 🪴 of plants in the sunroom that makes you want to sit in for hours. The furniture is super comfy and there's extra throw blankets for extra coziness and snuggles 🥰. The bathroom is immaculate. My wife has been in the hospitality industry and for her to be awed says a ton. (I actually got bonus points for picking this space because she took my reservation card away🤣). The bedroom was so well put together that for the 1st time ever sleeping in a different space, we were able to have the most peaceful sleep and were well rested in the morning. Favorite host/property💛

My wife and I came into town for Homecoming at Morgan. The house location was perfect, and it's easy to get on the highway. This place was definitely clean and smelled amazing. My wife and I were very impressed when we walked on the floor there was absolutely no dirt or debris on our feet (that's clean!). I would definitely stay here again.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place, or kinder hosts! The home was beautiful, especially the back patio with the scenic view. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They even got us a pack and play since we were traveling with our 9 month old! The neighborhood itself if gorgeous and historic and the local shops and restaurants (The Mercury included) were amazing. The egg sandwich was so good we got it two days in a row, and the gift card was the cherry on top. Thank you both so much for making our stay wonderful!

Staying with Barbara was an experience that felt less like being at an Air BNB and more like staying with a friend. She is an incredibly kind and thoughtful person who went above and beyond to make our stay special. This has been our favorite stay by far and we will absolutely be staying with Barbara again if we’re ever in the area.

Our stay was too short as we were just traveling through but it will be a destination next time. The accommodations were wonderful and the surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful, I could have sat on the deck all day. Wilma was a gracious host and the eggs, bread, milk and treats were delicious. My 8 year old son loved all of the farm animals, especially the barn cats who were actually friendly. Wilma and her son took the time to show us around the farm. We will definitely be back!

Very responsive and attention to detail on instructions. Walking distant to many restaurants. The bed is super comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Staying another night tonight.

Sara was an amazing host. Our entire stay she went above and beyond to welcome us, and assure our stay was pleasant. The barn apartment was beautiful. Extremely clean and very homey. We enjoyed the beautiful country scenery and all the local recommendations from restaurants, shopping, and exploring as well as all the amenities the house had to offer. We can’t wait to stay again!

Sira and Bob are the nicest people you can hope to meet. There home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I will definitely come back. I recommend this home, if you are ever in Dover.

Awesome bed and breakfast with tons of log cabin charm. Could hang out there all day! Super cozy. Renate was as warm and helpful as she was effective and responsive.

Adorable little farm house, cute and relaxing. Perfect little yard for my dog to hang out, porch with chairs and a grill to relax at the end of the day. Super easy to find and she was very clear with I instructions. Would definitely stay again!

I have stayed in over 50 Airbnbs, and I never expected my one night in Dover to be my all-time favorite Airbnb experience. Renate and Bill offer the idyllic homestay. The house is clean, cozy, comfortable and has so much character, and this description can be extended to the room as well. All the details (snacks, activity/restaurant recommendations, fans/lamps) are neatly thought out. Renate and Bill are gracious hosts who went out of their way to make me comfortable in their home. They perfectly walk the line between actively hosting and giving guests the space they need to relax. It was a joy to chat with them for over an hour. The value is excellent, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. I would go out of my way to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and clean and we loved spending time seeing the cats, cows and chickens. Glenda and her daughter were very nice and took the time to give us recommendations for things to do and places to eat. I highly recommend staying here!

Gina is a wonderful host, and the space is amazingly decorated with many extra details. I appreciated her checking in to see how I was enjoying my stay. The breakfast offerings were delicious and made you feel as if you were staying in a friend’s home. I would highly recommend staying in this location!
