A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

For whatever brings you to Oregon, stay at Mama J’s comfortable, peaceful, safe and convenient spot. Portland is just ten miles away, the closest beaches, Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood are all about an hour, and there are numerous hikes from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. It has freshly refinished hardwood floors a full and a spotless bath with a combo tub-shower There is a deck which overlooks a spacious lawn and garden. A hot tube is available on request in the back yard as well as a fire pit. Okay, well, it's a stream, but it's all yours to enjoy. For the nature lovers we have deer, beavers, ducks, nutria, fish, etc. (think wetlands). For everyone, the house (duplex) is fully equipped with a fireplace, BBQ, hot tub central gas heat and central AC. This is a bright, clean and cozy space to land for folks who love the suburbs (not in the city city but we are close drive to the city center) but want to be surrounded by nature. With ambient noise from the creek and highway.

Perfect for business travels, family with kids and couples, alike. FYI, fireplace is not for guest use.

We are within walking distance to a grocery store, pubs, small restaurants, and the Saturday Cedar Mill Farmers Market. Close by is the entrance to Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks, with 80 miles of trails.

Our cozy-comfy 4 season yurt is nestled under majestic trees on a beautifully landscaped 1/3 acre. Located in a quiet, safe SW Portland neighborhood with a park, hike/bike trail a block away. We are 6 miles from downtown, with beaches, gorge and Mt. Hood accessible for day outings. There is a full kitchen, a natural gas fireplace and complete electrical and plumbing service. The guests full bathroom is located in the home's utility room a short lighted pathway walk from the yurt.

We offer a 525 sq.ft. private, studio apartment built in 1950 in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment is separate from our home & has its own staircase. There's a full kitchen, bathroom and a balcony with a view of the Coast Range Mountains. NW Portland is just 5 miles over the West Hills where you'll find many unique restaurants and shops. We're just 1.8 miles from St. Vincent Hospital, 3.4 miles from Nike, and nine miles from Intel .

Charming Quiet Backyard Cottage

Our little cottage is 280sqft with its own entrance and parking. It is a studio with a kitchenette and features a full bathroom with a large shower. We have a full size Murphy bed for 2 as well as a sofa. Our bernedoodle, Alyena, and our cats are always eager to welcome you. The dog is quite vocal but super friendly and just wants you to throw the ball for her, preferably all day long. We’re flexible about check in, just message us.

Enjoy a peaceful stay at my centrally-located studio. You'll love the convenience as is nestled in a quaint neighborhood just off HWY 26. The neighborhood is great for walking and exploring. Safeway, Handel's Ice Cream, Chipotle, Market of Choice, local restaurant and tap rooms are all nearby. The studio is a quick drive to Nike, St. Vincent's Hospital . There's a private entrance and side yard with outdoor seating.
