Gareth's place was exactly what we wanted. Our stay on New Years Eve was great. His home had definitely enough room for our whole large group, with a good downstairs seating area that even had a very large TV we could all play games on and watch tv and the whole place would heat up very warm too. The kitchen was very well stocked with plates and glasses etc. Furthermore, Pontwelly was lovely and the local were all nice and welcoming. There were also quite a few good pubs in the town and a supermarket a 2 minute walking distance away. The pictures do not do the location justice, as out the back of the hostel is a beautiful river with a short walk along it too. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay at The Cwtsh. Jo & Matt were very communicative and Matt gave some useful recommendations. I arrived early evening and the accommodation was nice and warm which was much appreciated. Very cosy, comfortable - the perfect place for a few days away with my dog. The property itself is well furnished, plenty of facilities and the grounds were great for the dog! I would definitely recommend and stay here again should ever I be back in the area. Thanks again!

Quaint little cottage, comfortable and warm with central heating and a log fire. No heating in the dining room though, but it didn't matter at all to us, we just eat in the bedsit area. No tv but good WiFi, so able to watch programs or listen to radio on a tablet. Location - absolutely stunning, with beautiful walks during the day, and beavers around the fire pit in the evening- incredible!! Would we go again? - absolutely!! Tips - take a bag of carrots for the beavers, if there's no food out for them they won't stay long. Make sure you haven't forgotten anything, it's a long way to the shops!

Amazing place to stay, hot tub was very relaxing, the hut was very cosy and the bed was super comfortable! Very nicely placed in the countryside with no road or car noise really. Will be going again

My family and I stayed for a week at Otters Holy to celebrate a milestone birthday, it truly was the most memorable special week. The house is beautiful with an amazing setting. So lovely to wake up to the river views and spotting wildlife. We all enjoyed the peace and quiet, the hot tub, sauna and taking the kayaks out on the river. Katerina was always in hand to answer any questions and offer advice as needed. We would all love to return to this place!

Had a lovely stay over the Christmas period with family. Beautiful property, exactly as described in the profile and pics. Very short drive to the coast where there are some great walks. Definitely looking to come back again.

The photos do not do this gem justice and the pictures are really good ……. Rob isn’t a super host he’s whatever comes above super easy to talk to is so helpful with locations of good places …… if you like we did plan lots of activities I hope you manage to drag yourself away because as soon as we arrived we fell in love with the from the secret walks to the pure idyllic surroundings this place is amazing peaceful and a real find for folllow up visits

Beautiful accommodation with everything you could possibly need. Wonderful beach and outstanding sunrises and sunsets. Tracie was very helpful, friendly and responsive with great recommendations.
