One bedroom with queen bed, sofa sleeper in the living room, kitchen, full bath, lake view, and covered deck overlooking 125' of shared Lake Charlevoix frontage. Shared dock. (Seasonal) and parking. Fire pit and grill (seasonal). One mile to downtown BC on a walkable bike trail and six miles to Boyne Mountain.

Waterfront Cottage at Larks Lake

Charming, year around cottage. Nothing beats being in the middle of our pristine lake or sitting on the deck watching nature in all her glory! And when you're ready for something a little bigger, Lake Michigan is a short drive; along with world famous Legs Inn (closes mid Oct) as are the "big" cities of Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinaw City! Walking distance to Moosejaw restaurant when you don't want to go anywhere! Incredible fall color change. Be prepared to not want to leave!

This lovely cottage is the creation of Charlevoix's legendary builder in stone, Earl Young. The year was 1929, and the Hollywood director, Norman Panama, commissioned Earl Young to build his summer get-away. Stars of the day, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope partied on the expansive estate-like grounds, with stunning views of Lake Michigan. Our incredibly special rustic vacation cottage is directly on the beautiful Lake Charlevoix, with a private beach and dock. We only rent for part of the season and hope that your families can create wonderful memories here too. For over 100 years our family has been coming here, and there are other family cabins along the lake. Enjoy non-stop swimming, lake activities, falling asleep to the sounds of the waves, dinners outside, walks along the beach and more.
