Lovely get away in central London location. Lots of space and very quiet and peaceful. Super clean and a very friendly and informative host.

Words cannot do this place justice…Phoebe and Chris were wonderful hosts, the surroundings are idyllic and their place far surpasses the photos! Feels like home from home, an amazing break and cannot wait to stay again!

We had a perfect stay at the lodge! Beautiful property with equally beautiful surroundings. It’s well equipped and lovely to have use of hot tub, bbq etc! Lots of nice places to walk for food and drinks. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Such a peaceful and relaxing stay - thank you!

Really lovely stay. Very private. Extremely clean. Beautifully appointed and decorated. Super comfy bed. Attractive outside space and good views across fields, particularly enjoyed watching the beautiful horses in the field. Hot tub was everything we expected, no problems with detergent in swimwear! Thankyou Rebekah, don’t change a thing (except maybe adding a cafetière in addition to the Nespresso)

We adored our stay at Acre Lodge! You can tell the amount of care and quality that has gone into the lodge, and it also shows in the hospitality that Janet and Graham provide. The nature surrounding the lodge is lovely, as is walking around the village, and enjoying the night sky from the well set-up backyard. Janet and Graham were responsive and kind — when we needed support with fixing something, they were immediately attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth! We were grateful and it lent to an incredible, relaxing weekend in the Cotswolds. Looking forward to returning in the future!

We are a couple in our 30’s, we visited over Easter with our dog. It was very easy to check in to the cottage once we arrived, the location was very private and peaceful. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, exactly as described, it had everything we needed and was so cosy! We had even been left a welcome box with some cupcakes/crisps, wine and an Easter egg which is such a nice touch! The decor is so nice, kitchen was great as we like to cook dinners on staycations and the bathroom is lovely! Also made great use of the hot tub every day! We walked around the village a lot with the dog, there is a nice village shop and a pub a 5 min walk from the cottage which was dog friendly and had a really nice vibe! We had a roast there for lunch on the Sunday also and this was great! We had an amazing stay and we would definitely come back, we loved how close by all of the other Cotswold villages were for visiting and this was such a nice base to come back to each day! We had a wonderful week here with our two-year-old daughter. The location is perfect. Within a two-minute walk, there are several restaurants and breakfast spots (The Bear Inn was our favorite). In just five minutes, you’re at the train station, where you can catch a train to Oxford and London. There’s so much to do in the area for children. The cottage had everything we needed, and the hot tub was a big bonus. We really enjoyed our stay!

After an issue with our booking we were offered this as an alternative lake house for our stay. The location was excellent and Orion were great to deal with. The only disappointment was us not being to have the house that we had originally booked but the house we did have was comfortable, hot tub was great and there was plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Afsoon was a wonderful and attentive host. Easy to communicate with and keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house is immaculate and peaceful - I could lie in bed and listen to the birds first thing. She offered to cook us dinner, for very reasonable price, which was a delicious Persian 3 course meal. We stayed here as we had to be at Dorney lake early. Although close to the lake, it is a bit of a drive to get to the other side. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great place to stay near Canary Wharf! The home itself is beautiful, spacious and clean. The hot tub and sauna are luxurious and a fun treat! Kitchen is fairly well stocked and easy to cook in. A/C worked great. Washer/dryer combo machine is nice to have as well. There is a small market across the street which makes getting groceries super easy. The bus stops right in front of the house for easy transport to Canary Wharf or anywhere in the city. Great transportation connections via DLR as well. Greenwich is an easy walk and a wonderful way to spend a day. All in all a fantastic place to stay! Thanks for making it a great place for our family!

Damian was very helpful and could not do enough to ensure we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, all be it not as big as it seems from the pictures. There isn’t a games room but a games area within the main living space - which is still great. It does need a slight spruce up in areas to really give it a complete deluxe/luxury wow feeling. Cinema room is excellent, garden and view is fantastic and there is sky tv in most rooms, beds aren’t king size and sofa beds in living room are really hard futon types so wouldn’t personally use them and would only book by bed number if we came back - which we definitely would! Overall great host and beautiful property which does as it describes. Thanks Damian for all your help during our visit!

Que dire à part que tout était tout simplement PARFAIT!!!!Si vous décidez de passer un séjour en famille et/ou entre amis,le logement est génial pour visiter Londres!!!Damian est réactif, à l’écoute et le logement était exactement comme sur les photos!!!Le train est à 2minutes à pied du logement…Comptez 10 minutes entre chaque train…donc très bien desservi!!!!A 10 minutes à pied maximum,vous pourrez trouver un grand magasin alimentaire (TESCO) Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés!!!!!!! Grâce à Damian et son logement notre séjour a tout simplement été fabuleux…Londres est une ville magnifique!! Virginie

Beautiful place! felt right at home, gorgeous views and everything we wanted and more, amazing stay!

The stay was just lovely!:) Exactly as pictured. We went there to celebrate birthday and did a lovely BBQ&Drinks. Everything we needed was there for us to use:) Hot tub was clean, warm and relaxing. I could stay there all night watching the stars. Alexia gave us fresh orange juice, milk and home made load of bread for the morning! Never been anywhere with such a thoughtful host!:) It was very well equipped, kitchen had everything possible, fresh towels and robes, even the body wash etc in the bathroom was a quality brand:) so many board games available aswell and next time I’m gonna buy a mattress I’m gonna buy the one that was in the cabin! So comfy! Overall 11/10 experience, it was very pleasant.

Had the most amazing weekend, cabin was delightful and very cosy, Hot Tub was great. Great walks as practically on top of the Ridgeway. Richard was a great host, I would highly recommend to stay, great getaway for piece, relaxation, with great walks & beautiful scenery. Thanks Rich for a great stay 🙂

A beautiful retreat for 2 very peaceful nights away with my wife and our two Labradors. The retreat is very private and quiet but only a 5 minute drive from town and a 10 minute walk to the local pub. Our dogs made full use of the field as we made full use of the hot tub.

The cabin was a lovely place to take a trip away. Adam and Vicky were very helpful before we arrived and when we got there, as well as leaving lots of helpful information in the cabin. Great place to stay

lovely place to stay on a live working farm, all animals are amazing kids and our selves will miss them! hot tub was one of the best we have been in held the heat really well. views from the place are amazing host and family are lovely people too. definitely will be coming back

We loved it so much this was our second visit! Gorgeous cabin, feels really secluded when there, you wouldn’t know you were in Reading. Lots to keep you entertained without even leaving. Massive hot tub was such a treat too. No doubt will be back again.

Very nice spacious lodge which really lived up to the online description. Exceptionally clean and had everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Nice views over golf course and easy access to Cambridge and surrounding area. Karen was very helpful with the few queries we had and stay was entirely trouble free. Due to a busy schedule we didn’t have time to explore the obviously popular Country Club but were never disturbed by anyone using the Club.

A lovely place to relax at. Owners were great and helpful. Loads of places to go and see around the area. Cabin was nice and spacious. Will defiantly be returning in the future.
