What a slice of Paradise - this location is a hidden gem. From the incredible views to the top of the line hot tub…this property begs to be shared with family and friends. The custom fire pit is incredible. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The lighting being hooked up to Alexa is genius - I’ve rented too many properties where you just don’t know what switches go to what lights. This removed the guess work…especially upon arrival if it is dark! The lake is pristine and peaceful. Perfect for families or friends that want to relax and rejuvenate. I will 100% be back!! There are so many options for vacationers these days…I’m grateful I made the choice to stay here!!! Thx

A great house and location right on the water. We arrived well after dark, Tom came and met us at the property to make sure we got situated. Plenty of room for a family of four and more. We enjoyed the boats and fishing and hiking in the area. The game room was nice to have on a rainy day. The kitchen has everything you need. Really enjoyed our long weekend here.

This place is a gem! The pictures don't do it justice. Perfect getaway for a couple, the cedar hot tub is so nice and has views of the ocean! Great hiking nearby and fun food/drinks in downtown Camden (the Vintage Room has a great happy hour).

We enjoyed our weekend away at Mayya’s guest house! It was the perfect size for the two of us and we felt there were more than enough amenities to ensure our stay was cozy and peaceful! The add on of the hot tub was much needed and appreciated as well as it was getting chillier at night and it was the perfect addition! I would have liked to take advantage of the walking trail but the weather was rainy so we didn’t get to. We would definitely stay here again for a couple days and thank you Mayya for being a great host!

What a cute cottage with absolutely everything one would need Killer view

This was our second time staying here, my family and I love the tranquility of this little piece of heaven. Christopher’s home was beautiful, clean and well maintained.

The perfect place to stay for a peaceful vacation - the home is extremely well appointed and had everything we could possibly need and more. The lake is even more beautiful than the photos and we enjoyed the kayaks and hot tub each day we were there. We would highly recommend.

I spent a week at this beautiful little cabin with my two grandchildren. It was the perfect size and looks just as beautiful as the pictures inside and out. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beds were very comfortable. The lake can be seen from the cabin and we enjoyed the dock for fishing and watching the ducks. It’s very close to town for groceries etc but very quiet and peaceful on a dead end street. Jason was very welcoming and always available for questions and quick to respond. The only thing that would have made it better for my grandkids is if there was easier access for getting into the lake with a a little beach area or a lawn that went down to the water. But if you want a quiet get away in beautiful surroundings don’t hesitate.

Great person, she really went over and above what she would have been expected. The dock with boats were great, my boys love the lake. The place was clean and very well decorated. Lots of extra appliances. Washer and dryer is very nice when you are on a lake. Nothing to complain about. If you stay here and especially if you have kids you will be very happy.

We loved our experience at our cozy, stand alone cabin. The room is spacious and has everything you need. We would stay again for sure!

What an amazing setting! Right on the water. We saw seals, osprey, and, we think, an eagle.Also the most beautiful sunrise. The house is cozy and comfortable and really really clean. We found everything we needed and some thoughtful extras. Tamara is an excellent host!

What a wonderful cabin. Exactly as described. The sun rises over the Penobscot River were truly incredible. We made sure to brew our coffee, bundle up, and head out to the sun rise. You can also stay indoors as well and still see the sun rise. The fire pit table was also a nice touch. Plenty of Adirondack chairs for viewing the river including birds and a few seals. The grill was brand new and worked great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Amazingly the WiFi worked great and we also were able to access our streaming channels as well. Given the remote location, it was a pleasant surprise to see it work so well. There was plenty of hot water for showers and washing dishes. The propane heater and gas fire place did a great job of quickly warming up the cabin when needed. There were also new window A/C units, but we didn’t need to use them. There were also plenty of towels/blankets. No hair dryer, but we air dried. Paul was very responsive.

Absolutely loved our stay at this lake cabin! It's nestled right on the water, making it a perfect spot for peaceful mornings and unbeatable fishing. The sunsets over the lake are absolutely stunning — a real highlight of the trip. The cabin itself has a rustic charm, filled with unique vintage touches that make it feel cozy and full of character. It's quiet, far enough from the city to truly relax, but still conveniently close to town if you need anything. A wonderful place to unwind and make lasting memories with family. Can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time at Ann’s. The cabin was great and exactly as described, clean and very comfortable. The property is amazing with lots of privacy and in a great location to explore the Maine coast during the day. Don’t miss hiking down to the trestle bridge to see the herons. Ann thought of everything to make sure we would be comfortable during our stay and she was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and things to see.

Host was very friendly and informative but allowed us privacy as well. The cabin was charming, very clean and had more than what we needed for our stay. It was quiet and serene with beautiful views but close to shopping and dining establishments. We would highly recommend staying in this rental... it has it all!

Wow! Annie’s cottage is nothing short of amazing. It was absolutely beautiful and the perfect intimate stay my boyfriend and I were looking for. The surrounding area is beautiful as well! The space was perfect for the two of us and so so peaceful!

Lilla stugga is a beautiful property with all of the lake life amenities you could need. The location is very peaceful and private with amazing sunsets and lakefront. The outdoor shower was an added bonus! Hosts were super responsive and helpful with my questions. Highly recommend for a Maine lake getaway!

We felt truly comfortable and at home in the Knotty Pine Cottage. We spent 19 days there! My husband was working again in the area and the job site was 5 minutes away. On his days off we took advantage of hiking the numerous Boothbay Region Land Trust properties. We highly recommend Porter Preserve, Oven's Mouth Preserve and Oak Point Farm. We loved walking around beautiful Ocean Point and an afternoon on Popham Beach. We also spent an afternoon reading our books at Barrett's Park. The house is well stocked with everything you'll need to prepare meals and there is a Hannaford Grocery store 10 minutes away. We recommend The Thistle Inn in Boothbay Harbor if you enjoy crabcakes that are made from scratch. We're looking forward to our next trip back to Southport and hope the cottage will be available. Many many thanks to our responsive hosts! They made us feel welcome and comfortable in their home!!

Amazing and beautiful location! Super quiet at night and only a few cars driving by during the day. Cheryl was super communicative and had stocked the house with everything I could possibly need- gear for any kind of excursion, plenty of cookware, extra linens, even toothbrushes in case you forget. Perfect as a home base for exploring the area or for a quiet retreat. Also has an amazing, spacious kitchen, so great if you like to cook!

Beautiful cabin in quiet and peaceful surroundings. Closes to attractions and multiple small towns with things to see and discover. Michelle and Dan were great hosts, everything we needed was in the cabin! They had a book of area things to do. They answered right away when we texted. I would definitely recommend their place!

Such a beautiful spot--Christine's house has gorgeous views, a dock and many kayaks. We enjoyed our stay--sitting on the deck, seeing the Northern Lights (!!)--thank you Christine for the heads up! Harpswell is a special place and this beach cottage is special as well. Loved the view from the spacious bedroom. Great hiking and local seafood.

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the cottage. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature and offering stunning sunset views of the pond along with kayaks to go out and enjoy! The cottage itself was cozy and clean and we felt at home! Darlene was welcoming and attentive ensuring everything was just right for our stay! I highly recommend this charming retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful stay! It was a bit chilly so we were able to enjoy the fire pit outdoors with the wood that was provided! I can’t wait to return and stay longer! We can clearly see why this cottage has so many positive reviews!!
