"Glamping at its' best"! 16' x 16' TreeHouse, suspended between 3 large fir trees, queen size bed, loft w/2 twin beds, composting toilet, much more, situated on 20 acres with a pond. Gas heater, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot. IMPORTANT: this is a Tree House! Going up the spiral staircase is an adventure in itself, so pack small bags (or packs) (large suitcases are not appropriate). This tranquil hideaway feels like you're in the middle of the forest, but is just minutes from Portland. Relax next to the burbling creek surrounded by towering cedar trees. The MAX Orange line and downtown Milwaukie are only five minutes away. Built in 1928, the cabin has one bedroom and bathroom, living room, full kitchen and central heat. The bedroom has one queen bed and an en suite bathroom. There is a pull-out queen futon in the living room.

We are on the east side of the river, Milwaukie area.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.

The Woodlands House

The Woodlands House sits on five acres of an old growth private forest. The home itself is a beautiful 4 bedroom home with two outdoor decks surrounded by towering pine trees. It's the perfect place to get out of the city and disconnect in nature, or to use as your base for all the PNW adventures. It's a quick 30 min drive to Mount hood or the entrance to the Colombia Gorge, and only 45 min from PDX Airport.
