Beautifully restored country estate near GWU

Beautifully restored 1850 farmhouse in the Shelby countryside. 30 minutes to Tryon. An hour to Charlotte/Asheville. Nearby are vineyards and GWU. 7 1/2 acres of serene beauty - sit by the pond and fish or hike the cleared trails down to the flowing creek. End the night sitting by the firepit. Sleeps 4-6 people. 1600 sq ft house with 2 BR, 2 Baths, den, and a beautiful open concept living dining and kitchen. Queen air mattress for den. NOTE: 6/25 upgraded to Starlink. Wi-Fi is no longer an issue.

Discover the charm of this spacious, historic farmhouse perfect for your next family getaway. Maintaining its original character from 1880, this 2368 sq. ft. home has been restored and updated with modern comforts and amenities. You will have access to a fully furnished kitchen and get to experience some treasures of old, such as an antique cook stove.
