We are situated just one mile away from the town of Haltwhistle also renowned as “the centre of Britain” and all its amenities. 10 minutes from Hadrian’s wall also known as the Roman wall spanning 73 miles of the country Northumberland holds the longest stretch of this amazing English heritage. This 3 storey Northumbrian stone Barn conversion dates back to 1760. Arrow slit windows, vaulted ceiling, minstrel gallery wrought iron spiral staircase, are lovely. There's open plan living, kitchen, dining area and lounge with log burner and a decked balcony overlooking the valley with a stream and mini waterfall. From the living room the spiral staircase leads up to the minstrel gallery and down to the bedrooms and bathroom. Additional accommodation is available in the Magical Cottage nearby

Free pick up after 5pm from Steel Rigg and free drop off before 9am. Dog friendly too. Small airfryer, small freezer and fridge.

The Bothy at Ivy Cottage offered on a B&B basis, is a unique, cosy & beautiful, centuries-old stone Shepherd’s Hut, situated in the hamlet of Red Path, a short drive to the popular town of Halthwhistle. The Bothy is surrounded by dramatic countryside, woodlands and magnificent views as far as the eye can see. Though not far from the convenience of A69, the Bothy offers a tranquil and peaceful setting.
