Excellent off season vacation. We were visiting friends in Huelva and Portugal so we decided to stay in El Rompido. The home is beautiful, we would have loved to have used the swimming pool but it was too cold. It is 30 min to Huelva and 1 hr to Faro, Portugal. The house is great for a group, upstairs is open and guests can live comfortably downstairs. We would definitely stay here again! Gate staff were very friendly as well.

Lovely, clean villa with all you need. Lovely large plot down a tight lane. Was right next to the railway line but didnt really notice it anymore than the planes or dogs barking occasionally. We were unlucky in the fact that they did railway maintenance on the track at 3am on 3 nights. We were there while the electric outage happened. The host brought us a torch. Top tip make sure you have cash available. There were plenty of loungers to relax around the pool. Recommend a stay at the villa. Added bonus good wi fi and netflix. Very good communication.

La maison de Mildred et d’Alex, et le terrain qui l’entoure, est un véritable coin de paradis. C’est une maison qui a été très bien conçue et qui est faite pour y vivre. Tout y est impeccable et mieux que sur les photos. Au printemps, la vue sur les fleurs, les collines et le ciel étoilé, est très apaisante. La maison est près de tout. La rencontre avec Mildred et Alex a été un vrai plaisir. Leur fille Emay, aussi sympathique et efficace, répond aux demandes et transmet l’information très rapidement. Sans oublier les chiens Lilly et Louis qui sont adorables. À ce jour, il s’agit de l’une de nos meilleures expériences Airbnb ! Nous espérons y retourner bientôt.

This place was wonderful and quiet with beautiful views from sunset to sunrise you see it all happening. It's a must having a car for local grocery as its about 6min drive to any of the main supermarkets. Beaches are near by as well about 20 to 30min drive depending on the one you want to go to. I would rebook again in the future as my family loved it too.

Appartement propre, agréable et complet. Tout pour cuisiner, laver son linge, barbecue disponible pour passer un bon moment entre amis. Hôtes très agréables, réceptifs à la moindre demande. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour.

The view from the villa is spectacular! The villa is very clean and comfortable. It is situated in quiet countryside with many interesting walks from the Villa into the surrounding hills. There are many good local restaurants, it is an easy drive to Loulé and Sao Bras. It is essential to have a car.

Je recommande à tout le monde qui veut passer des vacances au Portugal dans un endroit magnifique, paisible et calme, mais surtout dans un cadre exceptionnel. Nous avons passé deux semaines inoubliables. La villa était vraiment très propre et très spacieuse, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires à des vacances réussies. Nous étions situés non loin de la plage, avec des restaurants succulents recommandés par l'hôte (Ana). Bien qu'elle se trouve à l'étranger, Ana est très proactive et réactive ; en effet, elle nous a conseillé d'excellents restaurants, de très belles plages et des activités à faire sur place. Je recommande vivement cette villa et, d'ailleurs, nous avons l'intention d'y revenir lors de notre prochain séjour au Portugal. Merci encore, Ana 🙏

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans le gîte de Mariana. Tout est conforme à la description et aux photos et nous avons apprécié les produits de la région pour notre accueil ! Les lits sont très bons et nous ont permis de bien nous reposer. La météo et la région sont incroyables, nous reviendrons!

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Tamsin's house, perfect position 5 mins walk from everything in a peaceful location. The house is even bigger than it looks on the photos, all the rooms are very spacious, comfy beds, good showers and the pool and garden are beautiful. We loved our stay and would definitely return. Tamsin was very flexible with check in times and departure which was a great help. Thanks

La maison est très agréable avec tout l'équipement nécessaire. La cuisine est très bien équipée, le mobilier très confortable, air conditionné, … Le jardin est également très agréable avec plusieurs endroits différents pour s'installer pour déjeuner ou diner en fonction de l'heure de la journée. Il est vaste et très bien entretenu, et complètement clos (idéal avec des enfants). La piscine est belle avec de l'espace autour et bien équipée (transats, parasols, …). La maison est très calme, sans vis-à-vis. Elle est très bien située pour permettre facilement de visiter la région tout en restant au calme. Un ménage a été fait en milieu de séjour (avec changement de serviettes). La communication a été excellente avec Christiane et Patrick, et les informations claires et précises. Merci. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille et je recommande vivement cette maison vraiment très très agréable.

It was a pleasure to stay and Vivian and Ruben’s place. The house is very spacious and can accommodate large groups perfectly. Vivian and Ruben were there to greet us and let us in and were available throughout the stay for any questions we had no matter how small. Highly recommend staying at their place. Pool was a great plus even for a mid October stay as it can be heated.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Hill Boutique Villa. The villa had everything we needed for our 10 days stay and the pool was amazing (15m in length). Location is very private and quiet as well as safe. We enjoyed spending time at the villa and had a relaxing few BBQ dinners. Kitchen is well equipped with high quality electric appliances. The villa is well located. 10 mins to Olhao with many nice restaurants and seafood market and 25 mins to Faro. Antonio had been very helpful and responsive to our needs. The only suggestion is if owner can install some curtains/blinds in the bedrooms. There are black-out electric shutters. However, if the shutters are closed, the air-con needs to be switched on. It would be nice to have fresh air during the night whist the bedroom windows / electric shutters are open. Overall, great villa and wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

The stay at this rental was absolutely amazing. Jacky was a gracious host and was there for any need and informed us of the villa very well . As of the villa , the place was pristine and full of the amenities listed . Would love to come back here.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, spacious villa. The property was just as described, with comfortable beds and plenty of room for everyone. The stunning views and private heated pool were definite highlights! A special thanks to **Silvia and Mickey**, who were outstanding agents—always responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to communicate with. Their support made our stay even more enjoyable. A few minor suggestions for improvement: - The pillows and linens could use refreshing for added comfort. - Additional hand towels would have been useful. - The sofa bed in the studio is better suited for shorter guests. The location was excellent, with a lovely restaurant within walking distance. A car is essential for groceries and exploring the area, but the convenience and scenery made it worthwhile. With just a few small updates, this villa would be absolutely flawless. We’d happily return and highly recommend it to others!

A really fantastic place to stay! We fully enjoyed the nice accommodation including a wonderful infinity pool. I would recommend this villa to everybody searching for a quiet place to enjoy your holidays !

This spacious, often quirky house with annexe is exactly what we needed for our family + dog get-away. It's clear that "Casa Evang" has been in use for quite some time as a family holiday home, so everything is there and provided for, e.g. kitchen utensils and things like coffee capsules, spices, oil, vinegar, mosquito repellents etc. – I personally appreciate it very much when I don't have to spend my first hours on vacation going to the supermarket and looking for the basics! I can't count the many hours we spent outside, be it by the large pool or on the terrace, just relaxing, reading, having barbecues etc. Despite the very convenient location – the town center (with supermarkets, restaurants etc.) is just a 10 min walk away – the property allows for all the privacy you need, with no direct neighbours. Last but not least, the hosts were very friendly and responsive, allowing us an early check-in and changing the gas bottle when we ran out of gas on a Sunday night. Thanks a lot!

Wij hebben genoten van onze vakantie in het huisje dat ons erg beviel. Zowel binnen als buiten was het aangenaam vertoeven. Het huisje heeft een rustige ligging maar ligt niet te ver om makkelijk met de auto naar de supermarkt of de stad Faro te rijden! Het huisje was netjes en alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. De communicatie met Maria ging zeer vlot, ze is zeer vriendelijk en reageert snel. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

We had a great time and were so happy to be able to check in a couple of days early, leaving behind a very poor nightly rental. It was a relief to be with a friendly, responsive host. The place was great with lots of space. Nice pool area....we didn't get to use it because of the weather, but it looked lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable house in peaceful surroundings. As well as beach walks, relaxing in the garden, enjoying barbecues, and swimming even though it was early in the season, we took Ubers to visit Tavira and Castro Marim. Hired bikes from Abilio Bikes and had a wonderful ride on quiet lanes around Tavira going past the salt pans and passing through beautiful scenery. We found Manuel's house a lovely place for a relaxing holiday and having quality family time.

This villa is perfect for families with children. There are so many toys and kids books - they’ve thought of everything when it comes to children. The villa and outside space is beautiful. The only down side was that the parasols were not working when we arrived and there is not much shade in the pool area. Smart villas were super responsive and flexible when it came to our arrival and check out times. Location wise you need a car or we used taxis and it’s only a short drive to town (10 minutes).

We had the most magical time at Casa Stardust! It really is a special place. It’s wonderful gardens, which just keep on giving.. every corner you turn provides another tranquil resting area. The kids absolutely loved exploring and visiting the turtles & frogs in the pond & loved making friends with the resident rooster and his ladies💕 The beaches nearby are family friendly and there are lots of different options, the local restaurants & towns are wonderful. Adoramos a estadia! Eramos um grupo de 13 pessoas e a casa respondeu a todas as necessidades, superando as espectativas. esta bem estimada e cuidada. D. Else se prontificou-se sempre para ajudar no que era necessário. O trajecto ate a praia e facil de fazer a pe mesmo com criancas. Obrigada D. Else por nos receber voltaremos com toda a certeza!

Prachtige plek op een resort. Heel ruim opgezet huis met grote slaapkamers. Fijn bedden. Verder koel binnen. Zwembad op loopafstand. Communicatie met verhuurder ging heel soepel, babybedje stond netjes klaar. In het echt is het wel iets ouder dan op de foto’s en huisje ligt ‘‘s middags in de schaduw. Kan een voor- of nadeel zijn afhankelijk van de temperatuur 😉 Wij hebben het er naar ons zin gehad!
