The Log Cabin

The Log Cabin is situated 3km from the village of Ballyvaughan. It is nestled under Cappawalla Mountain on a quiet, peaceful road with fabulous views of Ailwee Mountain. It is a one-bedroom cabin, with a sofa bed in the sitting room that can sleep up to 4 guests. The Log Cabin is an ideal base for exploring the Burren, Ailwee Caves and the Cliffs of Moher as well as many other tourist attractions in the area. The Log Cabin is close to the Ballyvaughan Wood Loop walk for those who enjoy walking.

Wild strawberry Shepard’s Hut with Hot Tub

Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

Our passion is nature and rewilding ,we are happy to share what we have been doing here for over 30 years equally we are happy to leave you in peace amongst the trees and plants of the garden We are close to many places of interest like the Burren National park, Coole park and East Clare Way hiking routes.
