We are located just off Highway 160, where you are a short 18 mile drive to Wolf Creek Ski Area. The old gold mine by South Fork, It was the shop that was up there. It was taken down and we reassembled the metal part and built this.

Red Fox Retreat : a charming homestead

Welcome to the Red Fox Retreat, a log cabin on 2 acres in a mountain “neighborhood” (with red fox). There are four bedrooms (one detached in a little back cabin) and three bathrooms (one is detached). If you do NOT need to use the detached extra bed and bath, please let me know so my cleaners can schedule their time accordingly. 🐶We love dogs but please select that you’re bringing (up to two) due to a $100 total fee.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is perfect for 2 adults; but can accommodate additional guests for an additional $25 per person per night. The house has a fenced in yard and is located on 1 acre just a few minutes walk from the national forest. Enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from the cozy enclosed porch. There is plenty of room for ATV parking, and you can go directly to many trails without having to tow or trailer!
