Nearby there is also the Hay Festival in May/June, Brecon Jazz Festival in August & every September brings the famous Abergavenny Food Festival. In July you can visit, The Royal Welsh Show at Builth Wells.

But there is still the benefit of modern life; wifi and a power shower! There are so many walks in the area: The Brecon canal, river Usk and Crickhowell are all close. Crickhowell has a selection of independent shops, pubs and cafes. Walking guides and maps are provided.
