The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm

As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

The Barn

The perfect place for two, The Barn is spacious, yet cosy. Recently refurbished, the bedroom is fitted with a king-sized bed and the bathroom boasts a large, walk-in shower. Cosy cottage by the sea

Located in the beautiful historic town of Nairn, in a quiet street less than 100m away from stunning beaches. Perfect spot to explore the Highlands & its rich history, relax on the beach & spot dolphins or play golf! Conveniently situated approx. 10 miles from Inverness airport, it is walkable distance to Nairn High St. You’ll enjoy my cottage, it has been lovingly renovated & is very cosy. Old Manse Cottage

This traditional Highland cottage is spacious, bright and cosy. Original features include a huge 18th century stone fireplace and slate floors, alongside modern comforts such as a wood burning stove, open plan kitchen, shower room and king size bed (+travel cot on request). The cottage is set in a private garden with views of fields and trees. Private parking. A fantastic base to discover beautiful walks and Highland landmarks; Strathpeffer village 1 mile, Inverness 18 miles, Route 500 2 miles.

Cosy fisherman cottage in seaside village

A cosy mid-terraced fishermans cottage, now with a wood burner, located only 1 minute walking distance to the gorgeous Shandwick beach. Ideal for a peaceful seaside holiday retreat. Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. Logs: we provide a bag of logs for each stay per week.If you require extra logs, I can provide contact details of logs providers locally. Well behaved (not too large) dogs also welcome.

The cottage provides 2 bedroomed accommodation with a warm and cosy atmosphere with its wood burning stoves in kitchen and lounge with comfy beds for that home from home feeling. Serviced with a large bath and free standing shower unit and fully equipped kitchen with dinning table. Set within our lovely garden and surrounded by woodland just 200m off the back road - gives guests and children the safety and freedom to roam from the front door. Located just 15 minutes from Inverness airport.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

Dunaincroy farmhouse enjoys a unique setting on the Caledonian Canal midway between iconic Loch Ness and the town of Inverness (6 minutes either way.) Albion Cottage is a beautiful seaside accommodation situated on Rosemarkie high street. A two minute walk from the beach, 15 miles from the City of Inverness. The cottage can sleep up to 4 people. The accommodation consists of a double room, a twin room and a double sprung sofa bed. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage has oil central heating and a wood burner. Broadband, freesat tv are also included. The property has a secluded garden.

Gorgeous Rosemarkie Cottage

Roineval is a charming stone built cottage dating back to 1880. A former Ironmongers Store beautifully renovated, into a spacious and bright, family home. Lovely private garden, with scandanavian woodfired hot tub. It is situated on the main street of the tranquil, seaside village of Rosemarkie, on the famous Black isle. The fabulous Rosemarkie Beach is 2 mins walk away. Ideally placed for exploring the Highlands with the Highland Capital - Inverness, only 25 minutes drive away.
