Lovely little cottage in a lovely area of the country. We were down to visit a friend and watch a local theatrical production but we also managed to do some walking in beautiful woodlands that were just a few minutes drive away. East Harling is a very pleasant walk away - but probably not at night - as part of the walk is on unlit roads with no pavements. Possibly a little unfairly, the location review was dropped a star for this. Mary was very friendly, responsive and provided comprehensive and accurate information. All-in-all it’s a lovely bright little cottage in a lovely tranquil location ….. I nearly forgot the hot tub - lovely touch - clean and a very welcome mode of relaxation.

We spent a lovely extended weekend at the barn visiting our family in Norfolk. The barn was clean, warm and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Jill and Phil were friendly and welcoming and check-in and check-out were easy. The super-king sized bed was comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus after a busy couple of days with the grandchildren.

Lovely cosy cottage located close to all the shops and restaurants in Holt. Cosy beds and sofa. Great to have a drive to park the car, and easy to get to lots of great locations for walking and the beach. We didn’t use the hot tub as it didn’t feel like it was in a private enough spot, but this is just personal preference. Great hosts, thank you so much.

Back from a long weekend here, set in a beautiful village with a local pub which was great for food and drinks and a nice outdoor seating area. The garden was great and had the sun all day and evening so perfect for sitting outdoors while relaxing in the sun and was very secure for the dogs and lovely hot tub to relax in Great location for getting to Wells next to the sea and other surrounding areas Would highly recommend staying here Hosts were brilliant and super responsive and nice bottle of wine and treats to enjoy on our 1st day of holiday.

We had the most wonderful time! The property is absolutely gorgeous to roam around and the house is really comfortable, well equipped and beautiful to stay in. Highly recommend!

The property was in superb condition, spotless and immaculately clean and presented. All fixtures and fittings were of great quality and there was a lovely welcome pack to greet us, containing local cakes, biscuits and so forth. We met Cindy and her husband Mark when they came to service the hot tub and they are delightful people. We spent time chatting during which they recommended restaurants, one of which we used (Buckinghamshire Arms) where we enjoyed Sunday lunch. Overall, a great experience, top notch Airbnb.

Very comfortable, spacious and well equipped cottage with lovely surroundings. Dog friendly too. Great to see such well cared for and happy hens wandering around too.

Such a Great Family Stay! Had a wonderful time staying here for our family break. The house was super clean, spacious, and had the majority of what we needed to feel right at home - only thing missing was some actual glass drinking glasses, which, if we would have known, would have bought our own. The swim spa was a real hit with the kids (and adults) —perfect for chilling out after a day of exploring, in the bubbles surrounded by the great British countryside. The location was perfect too—nice and peaceful, but still close to the beach and some lovely spots to visit nearby. Both pubs in the village were very accommodating and friendly. The host was really helpful and made everything easy from the moment we booked. We bumped into the host when we left and was telling that the house used to be the local Police House which was interesting - nice guy. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to return one day !

Just as it's pictured, weather was kind and made the house even more inviting. I was wowed when we pulled up the drive! I did have to check that I had booked somewhere with a secure garden and was pleasantly surprised once we turned up and saw the gardens, low fences but held in 3 springy Frenchies with no issues. Everything you need and more. Lots of lovely villages to visit. Dog walks on the doorstep. Already looking at when we can book again. Even considering hiring a boat too. Liz was great with instructions and local information. Highly recommend the Thatch cottage.

A beautiful cottage in the perfect location. 20-30 mins from every major place you could want to go. Cosy and homely with a lovely sunny garden. Private and secure, a real Norfolk countryside stay! We loved our stay, everything we needed was provided and Scott gave us all the information we needed to allow easy check in. We can’t wait to come back again, hopefully for longer next time. Just loved everything about this little place. The property was spacious yet cosy. Everything anyone could need was provided and parking just outside the door was so convenient.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect. 3 pubs and a grocery shop just around the corner. Walking distance to a beautiful sandy beach. Cromer was a brisk 30 minute walk away. We cooked in the cottage every night and there was everything we needed. Beautiful touches upon arrival which included a pack of hot cross buns and a vase of fresh daffodils. Accommodation manual was comprehensive and included numerous local recommendations. Beds were super comfy and I had 5 nights of perfect sleep. I was worried about parking but we always found a space directly outside the cottage. I would 100% recommend The Old Smoke House and will 100% stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at Breezy Two. The beach walks with our dog were absolutely beautiful, and our dog loved every minute of it! A highlight of our trip was visiting the seals at Horsey, it was a truly special experience. Overall, it was an amazing getaway. We’d definitely love to return!

We had such a wonderful stay at Albert’s Cottage. It’s in a perfect place to visit places easily and is easy to get to and park up. Imogen was helpful and recommended some great places to visit. The cottage was equipped with everything you need for a great break. Would love to come back sometime soon.

A beautiful bolt-hole away from everything including the internet with stunning marsh views and dark skies. To see Marsh Harriers was wonderful. Wood burner kept us cosy and the enclosed garden was heaven for our dog. Walks to the two pubs in Surlingham (one at Coldham Hall closed during the week off season) and easy drives into Norwich and surroundings. An outdoor shooting club right next door operates on Thursday am and Sunday mid-morning so you may want to plan to be out then - large red flags show when it is happening. At other times it is SO peaceful. We stayed for 10 days and began to miss a bath and washing machine, but not a problem for shorter stays. Old Hall Farm Shop at Woodton, the Wildebeest at Stoke Holy Cross and the new Michelin star at Caistor Hall as well as foodie Norwich mean eating out possibilities are endless. Pip left delicious eggs from her own hens.

Kates place is a beautiful little cottage, Kate gave clear instructions on where this was. check in and check out was smooth, although you are right next door to Kate you are left in peace. The breakfast basket is a beautiful and very helpful touch, even spare shampoo and body wash in bathrooms! leaflets for local attractions and days out, takeaway menus also- very helpful! The cottage is hygienic, all bedding and main areas were clean, some slight dust on skirting boards and cobwebs around (but I am a cleaner and probably pay far too much attention- even on holiday 🤦‍♀️) beds and sofas are super comfortable! peaceful and overall a beautiful place to stay! Will definitely use again when visiting in the future 😀

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage in a beautiful location. The village is charming and peaceful, and it made a great base for us to explore the nearby beaches in Wells with our toddler. The cottage had the essentials we needed and was comfortable and welcoming. It was perfect for a relaxing break.

Yvette's house was cosy and just what we were looking for a small dinner party and as a base to explore the Norfolk coast line.

Beautiful surroundings, loved being around all the nature, felt very private and tranquil. Would definitely recommend it to friends in the future and would stay here again when visiting Norwich

We stayed at Bluebell Cottage for 5 days to celebrate my birthday and loved it. We had such a great time and were so comfortable in the cottage. From the minute we walked in, it felt like home. We went out every day exploring the area and coming back to the cottage after a long day felt wonderfully relaxing. I love North Norfolk so much, from the beautiful natural beaches to the characterful small towns and villages. We are definitely returning and will book the cottage again for sure. A lovely short break in a beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings the cottage was well equipped there was everying there that you needed including a welcome pack lovely fresh bedding and towels even fresh flowers in the varses the grounds were amazing one of the best cottages we've stayed in and we have stayed in a lot. Would recommend this cottage and hope to go back.

This is a hidden gem. Fiona is an amazing host with her lovely labs Amber & Poppy. The cottage was warm and had an extremely comfortable and vast bed with very high quality bedding. A huge bath and tons of hot water. The cottage is very peaceful with walks all around yet under 10 mins from the excellent farm shop in Little Walsingham, and the superb Three Horseshoes Inn in Warham. Burnham Market is nearby as is Holt, and NT and English Heritage properties abound locally, as do stunning ancient churches and delightful villages like Cley-next-the -Sea with a very fine gallery, a large pottery, grocers and a range of pubs. The property has a fenced garden with wrought iron table and chairs which was ideal for eating outside. Fiona was delightful and you see as little or as much of her as you wish; the Round House is quite private. I can thoroughly recommend it and will certainly return! Ideal for lovely North Norfolk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the cottage was spacious and pristine The surrounding area was beautiful and calming. My sons loved the animals onsite, especially my youngest son ( 3 years old) who insisted on buying carrots and apples daily to feed the alpacas, goats and the donkeys - but his favourite was the white pony We will definitely be returning next year with family :)
