Such a fantastic stay, Sinead and Gareth went above and beyond for us. We had a 10/10 stay and would recommend the place to anyone. Couldn’t fault it and we will be back! Thanks again guys, wish we didn’t have to leave ☺️☺️

Jacky was an extremely proactive, kind and graceful host. She made us feel right at home immediately and communicated effectively the entire time. She presented us with milk and other amenities upon our arrival and her partner Steve was also extremely friendly and welcoming. The place itself was clean, comfortable and made us feel all at home immediately. Everyone slept incredibly soundly, and Jacky was extremely nice about us coming home late in the night! Otley itself was a lovely, peaceful town and incredible to walk around on a sunny day. We will be coming back when we return to Otley.

Highly recommended. Communication was top notch; quick and helpful, particularly when we had a problem with Netflix which Alison came and sorted. Extremely generous hamper of foods and remarkably well-equipped property with lots of thoughtful touches. Ideal for exploring the area, with lovely walks from the door

Dawn is a lovely host with a beautiful, warm, cosy and clean home. The garden and pets are just adorable. We had a wonderful break and made good use of the pool. There are so many castles and beautiful gardens located a short drive away. Great place for families. I will be recommending this flat and hosts to my friends.

Fabulous apartment! It beautifully blends original features with lovely furnishings, creating a stylish and comfortable space. The artwork is great and thoughtfully chosen to reflect the local area. If you love the YSP, this is the perfect place to stay. Excellent communications from Simon —clear, friendly, and prompt throughout. Highly recommended!

Great location just outside of grasmere - always a plus if you can set off on your walk from the doorstep

What a truly wonderful little place, there is so much to do for the kids and my two really did enjoy it! The apartment was absolutely stunning, spotless and also very spacious. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to book a trip away to the lakes be it with children or without. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at the property! The location is excellent—just a short walk to the market and the lake. The house itself is beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. Marta was incredibly helpful and accommodating to our needs. We'd love to stay here again!

Amazing stay for a 30th family celebration. The sun was shining so we spent most our time at the house on the terrace! Perfect location with the surrounding scenery. We had a slight issue with the hot tub room, due to previous guests. But this was quickly resolved! Can’t fault the hosts or the house. Would definitely love to return for another celebration in the future one day! Thanks again

I would definitely recommend John’s place for a visit to Hebden Bridge! Conveniently close to the train station, the house is in peaceful surroundings with beautiful views. The place is very spacious. Kitchen was spotless, beds were really comfortable, and John left a kind welcome pack of breakfast ingredients, fruit and snacks. There’s also lots of useful info about the area, including walks, restaurants and pubs.

This is an incredible, beautiful, peaceful location with lovely walks on the River Wyre just a ten minute stroll down the lane. The property is immaculate, beautifully maintained and in a picturesque location. There are restaurants a short drive away, and the renowned Booths supermarket in the Lancashire market town of Garstang is an easy 3 miles drive from the property. Lancaster, with its great selection of independent shops and compelling history, is just 7 miles away. With easy access to the M6, what more can I say? Highly recommended!!

Great communication before, during and after the visit. Easy to find and very welcoming with lamps on and a warm house to be welcomed into. Great added touch of welcome hamper and little extras like water, toiletries and water for each guest. Easy to keep tidy and really well equipped with nice quality kitchen utensils and equipment. Was right near the centre and brilliant to explore the town or go to the coast. Lovely recommendations for local good and pubs. Everything you needed for a relaxing weekend away.

Lovely cottage in a perfectly idyllic setting tucked away 5 mins from all amenities in Ambleside. Very clean and well equipped and Catherine was very easy to deal with. Would be happy to return.

Excellent stay-this is our third time staying with Wooden Star Cottages and it was as nice as normal! Cottage was great value for money, welcome info was clear and lovely tea, coffee and biscuits for arrival! Look forward to staying again in the future!

We had a fantastic one night stay here. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Loved the large living room space and high ceilings in each room. Also the thoughtful special touches including welcome message and snacks. Comfy beds, shower was great and we also enjoyed having a smart TV in each of the rooms. Perfect central location, would highly recommend staying here if visiting Clitheroe!

Everything was absolutely perfect. The appartment is great, it has everything you need. It's nice and quiet and within a couple of minutes walking distance from the centre. I had a great time.

The stay was very good, apartment was super clean and had all we could ask for. Location is far enough from the main part so it's not too noisy but not too far that it's walkable. Will stay again

This was our 2nd stay at Paul's place. Its a lovely peaceful apartment, immaculately presented and just a short walk to the town center. Paul's communication was spot on and the bread, milk and little birthday cake were appreciated. I have already recommended Paul's placd to family members.

Lovely little holiday home . We stayed Sunday - Thursday . Kerry was lovely . Great communication any issues I just messaged Kerry . Lots of hot water very comfy beds . All kitchen things I needed to make meals. Stone flag floor in lounge kitchen so take your slippers! Very peaceful little nook. Thank you 🙏🏻

Great stay at Raluca's place. Her communication was great from the outset, responding promptly to questions and providing lots of local recommendations. The place was perfect for our stay and the kids had a great time. The swimming pool and play areas were excellent and the toys in the apartment were a real bonus. Would happily stay here again for a family break.

what a beautiful flat in a stunning location. Had everything we needed and more and the hosts John and Rachael where amazing. Would highly recommend this flat for anyone with a fury friend and loves walking as many walks on the doorstep. We can not wait to visit again. Sarah, Ian and Fergal (The grumpy Jack Russell)
