We enjoyed our stay at Huy's EcoNest. The place was small, but looked just like the pictures and had everything we needed. The wifi was very fast and we were both able to work comfortably at the same time in the flat. It is not near the tourist hub of Hanoi, but we appreciated the quieter location and could easily get to and from the center by Grab taxis. We found nice cafes and a lake nearby. The botanical gardens are also nearby, so some nice spaces to explore. The flat was very clean and comfortable, so we felt right at home, and the communication was excellent! There was also a nice terrace on the roof, with some workout equipment, which we didn't have time to use, but was a nice addition to the flat. Thanks, for the nice stay! :)

Do you know the difference between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City? Hanoi is generally a clean city, although some of the roads are dirty. The centre of Hanoi is completely different from the centre of Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City is a degraded version of Bangkok. Now, this room is new and it is wonderful not to hear the footsteps of the people upstairs, which is what made me realise how wonderful Hanoi is after experiencing Ho Chi Minh City. Hanoi is quiet and reasonably priced rooms. Ho Chi Minh City is expensive and the sound of people walking upstairs echoes in the room below. This room has a separate living room and bedroom. Very comfortable to live in. I hope more people will use it. The only drawback is that, in Japanese terms, the rooms on the third floor can hear the motor noise of the shutters opening and closing at night, This noise did not disturb my sleep. Highly recommended.

Really nice cozy place, much nicer outside than in the picture. The owner is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended! I will come back next time I visit Hanoi.

Tolle Lage, die etwas ruhiger ist als in der Altstadt und trotzdem sehr zentral! Sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer und sehr sauber. Alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für mich war alles perfekt, da ich es sowohl zentral hatte, als auch mal etwas ruhiger und in einem Gebiet mit mehr Einheimischen. Super und jederzeit wieder!

Great views! Walkable to cafes, Old Quarter and more. Charming older condo. Super hot water for shower! One item to pay attention when using the washing machine. It is physically outside the condo. Even with the key you CANNOT let yourself back inside! The door must be propped open or you will be locked outside the condo. Ask me how I know (smiley). Thankfully Van sent someone within 15 minutes to let me back inside the condo. This should be addressed so others are not inconvenienced.

dieser Ort ist perfekt um mal aus dem Trubel der Stadt zu gelangen. Alle Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und super zuvorkommend. Als es mir am Tag der Abreise nicht so gut ging, durften wir auch später auschecken. Bei Ausflügen wurde uns immer direkt geholfen ein Auto zu organisieren. Es ist wirklich ein sehr schöner und ruhiger Ort. das Essen ist auch super lecker.

Was a great house to stay in and close to the airport, only downside it is a bit far away from the city and use grab is a bit difficult but the host help out with those difficulties

Ms Oanh was very communicative and was prompt. She also provided a housekeeper who was always available for us. The location is perfect to rewind and have some peace. The people around us was so nice and the housekeeper was always available to get us the stuff that we needed during our stay. This place is absolutely valued for price. PS - loved the pool floatie! :)

Phung ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die immer schnell erreichbar und hilfsbereit war. Das Zimmer ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und gemütlich. Das Badezimmer ist sehr sauber. Die Lage top. Eine klare Empfehlung.

Really enjoyed the vibe of this house — quiet and tucked away, but still in a great spot. It’s not a new villa, but it feels lived-in and comfortable, in a good way. Nice to come back here and wind down after a full day in the Old Quarter. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Hanoi.

She was a very friendly and responsive host, the house was worth the price since there were plenty of rooms for only the 6 of us, few of the bathroom doors can't be closed but they were clean and spacious, a big plus was how she helped us to check out late since we had a baby and elderly with us and we also had quite a late flight that day

I can't commend enough of Huy's place. It's got everything I need, and more. It is even better than the pictures. One minute there is the lake; around it and through the alleys one is able to walk in peace, and get to a shop or a place without having to worry too much about motorbikes. Try decoding the alleys; it is fun. For those who complained about being "so close" to other houses, you might as well not come to Vietnam. And quite honestly, from a local perspective, Huy's place is not too close to the neighbors at all. Should one like to be outside without going outside, the balcony already offers a pleasurable vantage point, a nicely tucked smoke spot, from which one is able to see staples of Hanoi living, if not occasionally be awarded some peculiar details, but there's more: a roof terrace awaits you where you can sit and look at a good part of the town all day long without being seen. If I ever visit Hanoi again I will not hesitate to choose Huy's place again.

Nice decoration, excellent value & good location. The 3 bedroom I booked was amazing. Honestly, the room was more than I expected with nice decoration and super clean. The host Mark really made my stay happy and convient, I and my family had such a great stay with such a wonderful recommendation for Tours and car to airport. Highly recommend it.

I had a fantastic stay! The area is perfect, especially for anyone looking for a nice and peaceful neighborhood in Hanoi. West Lake is a totally different vibe — full of expats, cafes, and just steps away from a shopping mall. The apartment felt very secure, with high-level security and even a safe in the room, which was a great plus. The host was incredibly kind and helpful. I had a few small requests, and he was always quick to respond and proactive in solving everything. We really felt at home during our stay. If I ever come back to Hanoi, I’ll definitely choose this place again. Thank you for everything!

We truly enjoyed ending our time in Ha Noi in the beautiful space hosted by Lily. It was everything we hoped for! The view is truly second to none- the value of the place is worth it just tor the view of west lake and floor to ceiling windows. We had only one minor issue when we arrived and the response time from the host was *immediate* and with care. The host was very kind and reached out frequently to see if there was anything we needed to make our stay more comfortable. Many great food and massage options nearby and great to walk around west lake away from the busy crowded old quarter. Lastly; the host was so accommodating with helping us have a late check out with a very reasonable fee, and also helped us with a last minute early arrival. We are so grateful for the hospitality and to have enjoyed this beautiful space to relax at the end of a busy few weeks of travel. Highly recommend!
