Wonderful location and very private. Beautiful area on the lake. Would definitely stay there again. Hosts were very responsive and we had a wonderful time.

The house was perfect! The amenities, the coffee bar, wireless charging phone stations, pool table, and laundry room was great! There were plenty of linens, dishes, kitchen utensils. It kept our family of 7 comfortable and entertained. We all felt right at home.

The home on the lake was absolutely perfect for meeting family for a long, relaxing weekend. The home had everything we could ask for. We love to cook and the kitchen had all the appliances, cookware, utensils and space to prepare large meals for everyone. We even smoked two shoulder roasts on the Big Green Egg. The three comfortable couches provided all the sitting space we needed to enjoy movies at night and The Masters during the day. Outside, the we all enjoyed the hot tub, sitting by the firepit and enjoying lake time on the dock and the boat we rented. Such a great place. When we return to Lake Norman and need a rental, Brenell's place will be at the top of our list.

I can’t say enough about this place. Was very beautiful, like a little oasis. The outdoors was fantastic. And the inside was so clean and modern and the little bottle of champagne and the waters was so nice. Definitely will be back

We enjoyed our stay so much! We love the house! The surroundings are beautiful. We even caught some fish in December. Most of our time was spent purely relaxing, and this was a perfect place for that.

The home was very comfortable, clean, and beautifully updated. The large screened in porch allowed us to enjoy a lovely view in a quiet location of the lake. Landscaping and dock area were attractive and provided lots of fun. It was obvious the owners took great pride in providing thoughtful amenities for their guests to have an enjoyable experience. The only thing that didn’t work for us was taking our boat out of the water there on the property. The gravel driveway made it too difficult to get the traction needed to pull trailered boat up steep incline. The alternative was to drive approximately 10 minutes to Buddle Creek Wildlife Boat Launch to trailer boat upon departure. We enjoyed our stay at this High Rock Lake home and hope to rebook next year.

Stunning house and such a peaceful location! Fell in love with the wind chime in the backyard; has the most relaxing tone for all hours of the day. The hosts were great, left a beautiful welcome basket including any information we may need, a bottle of wine, and more! The light switches and cabinets were nicely labeled for ease and had ample supplies for hosting a large group. And everyone LOVED the pillows, thick and sturdy yet soft! I'd recommend this home to any group staying in North Carolina!

We loved our stay here! Such a cute cottage and the lake is beautiful. They did such a nice job with the updates to the house and the amenities inside were perfect. We loved the sunroom. The location was fantastic - just 10 minutes to Davidson where we had dinner several times. It is also just 25 minutes from Uptown Charlotte. Ashley was very responsive and we had everything we needed!

I can’t say enough great things about this place and the host. Elizabeth was friendly and responsive and the place had many great amenities. Loved the outdoor space. Comfortable and peaceful. The bed was also comfortable and private with good blinds and curtains to keep out the light. The kitchen had everything we need to cook a fabulous meal.

The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. We were on the hunt for a quiet, serene spot with a lakefront view to celebrate Valentine's Day, and this place was perfect for us! 😊 Even though the weather wasn't the best, we still had an amazing time and were super happy with everything it offered. John is an awesome host and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. We'd absolutely love to return in the summertime and fully enjoy the lake! 🌞🏖️

We enjoyed our stay. It was within walking distance to Truist ballpark, restaurants, the art district, as well as close to lots of other attractions. The place is quiet and comfortable. We would stay here again without hesitation.

This is our second stay at the lovely little cabin on the lake. Hosts are helpful and friendly but most importantly they make you feel at home. Great place to relax, unwind and unplug. We enjoyed kayaking and lounging on the dock. We will be back.

I had an amazing experience hosting my 50th birthday costume party with a Bridgerton theme at this wonderful venue. I only dealt with Meagan, and she was so sweet every time. She is extremely personable and easy to talk to, which made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. Needless to say, the location was the perfect backdrop for picture posing—its elegant decor and timeless ambiance elevated our celebration to a whole new level. We were transported straight into the Regency era, making it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to throw a themed party that truly impresses!

This was a great spot to stay. We enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood and nearby walking trail as well as the outdoor area. Kay was responsive and instructions for our stay were very detailed. We will certainly stay here on future trips.

Really enjoyed this property and Jason was an outstanding host, always responsive and helpful. A lot to do in the area for someone who likes wine and the outdoors, especially enjoyed the Carter Falls trail. To me, the best feature of the property was the deck with the hot tub and incredible view. The inside was clean and comfortable with a lot of amenities. Easy drive to restaurants. Doordash is available, but driveway is a little hard to find until you know where it is. My Doordash delivery never arrived. Overall, I highly recommend this property.

If I could rate Gene and Connie's place higher than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I have stayed at several Airbnbs, and this was the BEST, by far. It was the perfect spot for peace and relaxation. The surroundings were magical!
