Really enjoyed my stay at Jamie’s place, stayed there for a month and enjoyed every single day! Place is very clean and Jamie has everything and honestly I felt it’s more than what was in the description! Jamie was always reachable and great in responding! Highly recommended!

David was a great host. I came with some friends to visit Halifax. Overall, it was fairly expensive to stay here but well worth it for a large group. First, the only slightly negative thing I will say is that I was trying to extend the stay and he didn't respond to the message or request for a few days. however, I called air BNB and they got a hold of him and it was taken care of In a matter of minutes. David was quite responsive otherwise. The instructions to get in were easy, the place was in a great location and it matched the description well. The bedrooms are a nice size and the beds are comfortable and large. There was an appropriate amount of dishware and other supplies which you don't always see in these Airbnb units. The views were spectacular. Would stay again.

Great host, great place. The location is the best, close to almost everything. Everything is as advertised. Really enjoyed my stay.

The Compass Tower is such a unique space! We enjoyed the location and the amenities. The beds were very comfortable and the top floor living room/ kitchen was a nice place to hang out. We made use of the roof deck (with spectacular sunrises if you get up early) and the projector for watching movies. We didn’t get a chance to check out the downstairs bar but it looked very cool. The restaurant recommendations were excellent. We found great food for each meal within a few minutes’ walk from the Compass Towers. We would definitely stay again!

We always feel at home in Angela’s flat. Can’t think of a thing that has ever been lacking to make our visit completely comfortable. We love the neighbourhood which is remarkably quiet, especially considering how close it is to restaurants, public transit and downtown. Looking forward to our next stay!

I enjoyed my time in Halifax and Barbara's place was the perfect place to call home while I was there. The location was ideal for walking around, I was able to work during the day uninterrupted and unwind in the evenings. I am hoping to stay again next time I'm in town!

The apartment was clean, spacious, bright, well-designed, and decorated, and it had all the amenities. It was quiet in the apartment, and there was little noise from the street. Great location to walk everywhere we wanted to go. A nice place to be for a conference - away from the hotels and bustle of downtown.

Great house, great hostess. Everything we needed was there, we didn’t have to bring anything with us. Micheline was quick to respond if I had any questions. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. We were in town for a minor hockey tournament and it was easy to get back and forth from this location to arena’s we played at. Highly recommend!!!

Ashley's place from start to finish was the best choice I made to stay in Halifax. Perfect location, extremely ready to check-in (I wish others use this method), and just the right amount of communication. Another thing I noticed were the details in the living space. Not only did they have a box of tissues in each room (you'd be surprised how often you might need them and I did have the sniffles the last day!!), but the flooring, window treatments, electric ventilation, shower, appliances, bedding... all very nice, chic, and you can tell they put extra effort and money into this space to make it comfortable for guests. Final take: It's the little and big things that count and I would HIGHLY recommend this place for solo travelers, couples, or a small trio of friends, specifically. There are a set of stairs down to access, but if an older couple/traveler had no issue with steps, this would work too. I rented a bike and felt safe with keeping it there for a few days. A++

Lovely spacious suite. The entire suite has a beautiful fung shiu vibe. My daughter loved her stay and all the “tiny things” in there. The beds were comfy, had myself a wonderful sleep. The host was amazing. Quick to respond to my questions. They were welcoming and made a lovely snack as a welcoming gift.

We recently stayed at Anni’s place and were extremely pleased with the entire experience. The entire place was very clean and comfortable. Easy check in and check out process, and great location. Anni was responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here!

Lots of extra touches. Wonderful welcome basket that even included dog toys and treats (including wine for the 2-legged guests). Loved having the washer/dryer to use (when you are travelling this is really nice). Overall very positive experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mary's place. It had everything we needed, including a nice big kitchen with a lovely view; it felt like I was cooking in a treehouse :-) Mary was very easy to communicate with. We would be happy to stay here again.

Ken’s place is ideal for a short trip to the city with the bonus of being in the quietest of suburbs. Slept like a log! Immaculately presented and very modern. Would recommend and stay again.

Wow!!! Amazing place, above expectations and so perfect for our Easter weekend! Fit all 15 of us with so much room! Kids had a blast and perfect for our basketball weekend! Thank you for being so great to us and such a great location! Easy to get downtown, 10 mins to Halifax Mall, and great run to Pleasant Park one morning! Loved it!!!!

This place was perfect! Great location, close to grocery & liquor store, bakeries, pubs and walking distance to downtown. The beds were the comfiest we’ve ever had in a bnb. The kitchen was more stocked than most bnb kitchens. Place was clean and as big as the pictures. Huge balcony was amazing with the beautiful weather we got. Super reasonably priced! Would definitely stay again.

This place rocks. Really cool vibe with the exposed rock throughout. The carriageway entrance really sets the tone for a awesome stay. The absurdly good location makes this well worth the money. 2 blocks from the waterfront, no more than a 30 min walk from anywhere downtown.

Our stay at Sally’s was fantastic, we would definitely come back. We were 3 adults and a baby. Sally’s place was perfect for us; private, convenient, with all the amenities, a little backyard… very adapted for a family with a child. Sally was very responsive and flexible. The location in downtown Halifax was perfect to visit the site (everything was less than 10min away!) and the garage to park the car was a big plus considering all the construction in the city and around the appartement. We had a few issues with some appliances; the fridge was leaking inside on the top shelf and the dishwasher leaked on the floor when we started it, so we couldn’t use it. Minor issues that I’m sure Sally will fix for the next tenants. Thanks again for everything Sally.

Exactly like the photos. Spotless place. Stunning views. Morgan was also super flexible and understanding letting us check out a bit late on our last day.

I will be coming to Halifax frequently as my son goes to school there. I will for sure be booking here again. Place was immaculate. Very clean. Very close to everything. Bed was comfortable!

Great location for moving university kids in and out of residence. Secure building, beautiful view. Great to have parking which was easy to use even with intermediate SUV. Overall very pleased. Would recommend and would stay here again.
