Perfect for a single escape, a romantic getaway, a small family/group gathering, or a serene remote work location. 1/4 mile to bus and 1.5 miles to DC metro, plenty of free parking. We live in a log home next door - so happy to provide advice on sites/restaurants and directions. No-SMOKING of any kind and NO pets and parties allowed.

Full private bath and kitchen with built in 2 burner induction burner, oven, microwave, coffee maker, hot pot, rice cooker and kitchen essentials. Walk to metro or take the bus from the corner. Bars, restaurants, grocery and other shopping and entertainment in walking distance or quick metro to DC.

Self Contained Private Master Bedroom Suite

Cleanliness and safety is my priority! It’s my promise to all guests that this unit has been throughly disinfected between guests! This is a totally self contained master bedroom suite with a private entrance and bathroom. Included is a posturepedic California king mattress, walk-in double shower and double sinks. There is also Verizon Fios TV, WIFI a small refrigerator, microwave, and a kruger coffee maker. The AC and heat is also self contained in the room and controlled by the guest.

Beautiful clean bedroom and private bath. Refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig in a large walk-in closet. This unit is closed off from the main house and has a private entrance with a code lock for self-check-in. It is 1 mile to Ballston Metro and is a 10 minute drive to DC (w/out traffic), FREE street parking available with a parking pass that is provided. It is a perfect size for one person. Note the photo of the full size bed if you are booking for 2 before booking please.

Just 15 minutes to the heart of DC, this fun, safe area is a walker's paradise with plenty of local restaurants, shops, parks and bikepaths making it easy to plan your visit. "The Hideaway" offers Free Parking onsite and is renovated with new appliances and eclectic 1940s adventure decór. Please note, this is a private basement studio apartment in a single family home. We live upstairs with our pre-K son who you might hear in the mornings and evenings.

A private suite & parking

You get everything you see in the pictures, a private suite ready to welcome a last-minute reservation. If you need to check in early or check out late, the host will try to accommodate you when possible. A $70 extra fee applies for a guest who wants to use the second bedroom. It is currently used to keep bedding and linen. It remains locked. The host will always knock or text before entering the living room on the first floor.
