We had a 3 night stay as 2 families with small children. House was great, big space, great outdoor areas. The venue is clearly geared towards large parties, stag or hen perhaps which it is perfect for. For us as a young family it was a great base to use whilst exploring nearby York. Plenty to keep children entertained at the house. A great stay for our getaway

Great communication and easy check in and out process! We didn’t spend much time at the cottage but it was great for what we needed with all the basic amenities!

Very comfortable and provided everything one would need for a home from home experience. The instructions to get to the farmhouse were very clear and therefore easy to find. Beautiful clear skies at night.

Thank you for another excellent stay. This time we got to benefit from the coastal walks and open space straight out the back gate. Julie was a great help when my lad accidentally set off the house alarm. Within 15 minutes the alarm stopped and our day was saved as we had tickets booked! Brilliant hosting and was attentive that all our expectations were met through the break. Highly recommended and will come again if Julie will have us 🙂

We loved our stay at Bramble Cottage and will definitely return. Comfy beds and seating and clean modern kitchen. It was really cosy in the evenings with the wood burner. It was such a relief to have a properly secure garden for the dogs.

Lovely warm and cozy lodge. Very clean and hot tub was amazing will definitely be staying again very soon!

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. It's ideally located to walk around York enjoying the many attractions, cafes, restaurants and shops. While it is a small terraced house with a steep staircase, as Victoria described it, it was a peaceful yet central base for our trip and had all the things we required including a cot for our baby. Victoria left us some milk and brownies, which we really appreciated. Communication with her was easy.

What a fab stay we have had. The apartment was ideally located and easy to access. Free parking a real bonus too! Spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped home. We will definitely be looking to stay again! Thank you.

Our stay was perfect. The location is amazing, right in the heart of York and a short walk to York Minster, which we did every day to “check on her”! Eating places and pubs all close by and in the same street too. Just a wonderful experience in this beautiful medieval city. Highly recommend. And on a clear day you can see York Minster through the roof windows which was delightful.

check in was smooth and easy. The only thing I would’ve liked was a washing machine, but everything else was perfect. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting York!

The property was perfect. It was a great size. Very spacious, homely and spotless. Very clean. The kitchen is a great size for big family meals. We will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend.
