My girlfriend and I had a great time staying at Joktan’s place. We really enjoyed the home as well as the amenities that came with it. Joktan, provided excellent communication. Would recommend staying here!

Our host was extremely helpful and pleasant to all our questions, and the accommodations were comfortable with all the amenities of a normal home, plus a very pleasant and private hot tub. Would stay here again.

This place was an excellent location for basing our trip to the Berkshires. We liked looking out over the lake, and walking around the community.

This cute cottage’s was exactly what we were looking for. Our stay was short but Meredith gave us great suggestions for places to eat to help us avoid wasting our minimal time searching. On a fall weekend the neighborhood was quiet. It was a really nice weekend stay for us.

We had a great time at Still Waters. A very cozy cabin on the water. Communication was great. Excellent hiking on an old stage coach trail and people ice fishing. It was a winter wonderland. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Michelle’s place. We woke to 8 inches of snow in April, so made good use of the fireplace. We enjoyed exploring the area, found several fun places to ride our mountain bikes and showed our daughter another part of Massachusetts away from her college.

What a peaceful home away from home! Living the "lake life" for a week was relaxing, beautiful, and fun to explore the lake on foot or the water! It was perfect for what we were looking for!

We spent a weekend in this beautiful house in early spring. The house is amazing and has everything you need. The view is amazing and the pond invites you to fish or watch birds. It‘s calm and relaxing. Would love to come back here soon and spend more time. Kelly and Claire have been amazing hosts and a nice contact.

The cottage was easy to check into, clean, and very cozy. It was decorated for the holidays which was perfect for our weekend. We enjoyed the fireplace and the games in the cabin as well! I would consider coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor area and lake. Ann-Marie and Carl provided really helpful instructions on how to get to the house.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The hosts thought of everything and made us feel right at home. We could not have been more pleased and would highly recommend this property.

Brenda place was beautiful with a beautiful view especially when we work up to some light snow on the lake. The layout of the house was ideal for us with the big open living room and great updated kitchen. So many comfortable beds for us to use. Our favorite places were the sun room and dining rooms looking out at the lake, Brenda was was kind and helpful and adding a Christmas tree for us was a beautiful touch . Highly recommend, one of our best for sure, thank you

We (two of us) needed a place to stay while some construction work was done at our nearby seasonal house. We know Ashfield well and were happy to find Hope House nearby. It is conveniently located a short walk to the three eateries we often frequent during the summer months (and to the wonderful Ashfield Hardware). We appreciated the simple decor (and fascinating collection of found objects put to new use), comfortable seating and queen bed. The kitchen area had everything we needed for our two-night stay. Though small, the bathroom was clean and served its purpose well. With intermittent rain outside, we enjoyed relaxing on the couch, looking out at the early "springscape" through the floor to ceiling windows. The cast iron gas fired stove kept us cozy. Andrew was very responsive and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting him in person when he dropped off a key to the house. Our winter stay at Hope House was most enjoyable.

This was our 2nd time at Arthur’s house. It is spotless and comfortable and the lake and the area is beautiful. The house has everything you could possibly need. The furniture and the beds are comfortable and Arthur is the perfect host, always responsive and an excellent communicator! The home is just as described and pictured. We will be back!

I stayed at the cottage for two nights with friends. It suited our needs well, providing a comfortable place for us to visit. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The nearby train did not seem to run over the weekend and we only heard it on Monday, late morning. Parking is definitely a little challenging in the snow but location is convenient and quiet. I would happily stay again if I am in the area.
