Bed & breakfasts in Engadin

A nice set of rooms very close to everything that matters in Varenna. The accommodations were clean and Debora did a wonderful job communicating all information needed for the stay. She is very kind and friendly. The view from the roof is absolutely stunning and deserves some time during your stay with wine and snacks (weather permitting). I would stay again. A couple additional points to share: 1) All rooms are above ground level, so if someone has any mobility concerns, this might be an issue. Furthermore, there are lots of steps everywhere in Varenna. Be prepared to work your glutes. 2) It can be a bit noisy at night, so, if you are a sensitive sleeper, you should grab some ear plugs/buds to help block out noise. The church tower across the street rings all day, including night and early morning.

What an absolutely fantastic place to stay. Menaggio is an incredibly beautiful town with direct walking access to local hiking and the apartment was ideally located within easy walking distance from the square, boat and bus station. We could easily pop down for dinner and back or for a few groceries. Francesco and Luisa were very responsive and friendly - they went out of their way to make us feel at home, offered to pick us up from the boat and gave us a quick driving tour of the town. The check in was flexible, and they didn’t mind us arriving late as well as kindly letting us stay longer for a late check out! They gave recommendations of places to eat and kindly left some bubbles and snacks for us to use. The flat itself was spotless and very spacious with a gorgeous balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee in the sun with views of the surrounding mountains. Shower was hot and powerful. I highly recommend this apartment and its hosts and wish we could have stayed longer.

A lovely place. You will find yourself in an old Italian house, quite atmospheric. Constanza is a very nice lady! We enjoyed our stay, and liked breakfast much. The only thing to consider is that location is on a mountain, and you will have to go up and down a hill even if you have a car. It wasn’t an issue for us, but if you have little kids, or problems with knees you should think twice.

Notre séjour chez Rea et Benny a été super ! Elles sont extrêmement chaleureuses, accueillantes et aimables. On y a passé 5 nuits avec notre bébé de 7 mois et on s’est senti comme à la maison. Le logement est agréable et la chambre confortable. Tout est joliment décoré et aménagé. Il est aussi très bien situé, très proche du centre et beaucoup de restaurant aux alentours. Sans compter la magnifique vue depuis le lit, splendide ! Le petit déjeuner était excellent, préparé au petit matin avec beaucoup d’amour. Grazie mille Rea et Benny pour votre accueil et alla prossima !

Un immense merci à Yoko, Paulo et leur fille Saori pour leur magnifique accueil 💛 Des hôtes en or, vraiment. Leur accueil est un admirable équilibre entre l’immersion dans une famille suisso-japonaise et une autonomie des visiteurs. Nous avons eu de super échanges intéressants et remplis d’enthousiasme et de douceur avec Yoko, Paulo et Saori. Ils se sont montrés très disponibles pour nous donner des conseils de visite et nous rendre service. La maison traditionnelle est très belle et le studio mis à disposition correspond tout à fait à la description, très propre et accueillant. Le jardin est magnifique, avec une terrasse sous une tonnelle où nous avons pu manger le délicieux petit-déjeuner préparé par Yoko. Ce serait rater quelque chose que d’aller à Morcote sans loger chez eux ! On ne peut que vous recommander d’aller chez ces « super hôtes » dont le titre est plus qu’amplement mérité. On leur souhaite de belles rencontres grâce à leur accueil si chaleureux et généreux.

Die Wohnung war sehr hübsch & genau wie auf den Fotos abgebildet, in einer wunderschönen Gegend. Sehr unterstützende & unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Kristina. Vielen lieben Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Very cozy, clean and comfortable bed&breakfast, super close to the bus station to go to Laax’s ski lift. Geta was a great host! The communication was really easy and the breakfast was delicious, perfect to start the day full of energy :) Thanks a lot!!

Schönes Zimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer, freundliche Gastgeberin, schönes Frühstücksbuffet im Preis enthalten, Abendessen, Menü, hervorragend, alles einwandfrei.

Even though I was only able to stay for one night at Massimo's place, I had the most wonderful time. Olcio is so beautiful and to experience it while living at Massimo's was such a blessing. Massimo was incredibly friendly and accommodating even for the brief time I was there. Such a funny and kind person. I will definitely be back to Olcio and Massimo's Casa Della Musica!

I feel so lucky to have chosen this place! It’s absolutely beautiful — the space feels like a museum with its unique decor and peaceful atmosphere. Maria is such a wonderful and kind host; she made me feel truly at home. Breakfast was delicious — she prepares it herself with so much care and love. Every morning felt like a special experience. The house is clean and cozy, and Maria’s hospitality made my stay unforgettable. I would definitely come back and recommend it ♥️♥️

Wir wurden von Simona in Abwesenheit ihrer Mutter richtig verwöhnt, sie holte uns am Bus ab, war zuvorkommend freundlich, hat uns zu einem Apéro eingeladen und viele wertvolle Informationen gegeben. Das Haus ist sehr geschmacksvoll renoviert worden, die Schlafräume sind geräumig. Wir können diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Logement parfaitement conforme à la description. Bob est très réactif. L'accueil est de qualité. La réservation du logement donne accès au Ticino Ticket ce qui est un vrai plus pour se déplacer dans le Tessin via le réseau de transport en commun.

Piękne miejsce. Piękny dom. Dogodna lokalizacja ( nie zbyt daleko dworca, w pobliżu deptak brzegiem jeziora z aleją drzew ,restauracje i kawiarnie nie opodal). Gospodarz Francesco niezwykle miły i pomocny. W jego domu czuliśmy się komfortowo . Dwa cudowne pieski, które za każdym razem witały nas kiedy wchodziliśmy do domu witały nas radośnie. Dzięki nim czuliśmy się jak domownicy. Dziękujemy

We spent one night in the bed and breakfast on our way form Germany to Italy. Cornelia has been very helpful preparing all what we needed for our baby as well. The breakfast offered in the morning was the cherry on the top.

Il b&b di Josef è meraviglioso! Ma non solo, è stato tutto perfetto, dall’accoglienza al check out. Ve lo consiglio anche per la vicinanza a meravigliosi sentieri e passeggiate che potete raggiungere in meno di 15 minuti di auto!

We verbleven twee nachten in de B&B van Villa Marguarita. Dat was genieten! De kamer is prachtig ingericht met een combinatie van hout, glas en beton. Alles met de grootste perfectie afgewerkt. Een ware design droom voor liefhebbers van strakke en zeer comfortabele vormgeving. Ook de sauna is heerlijk. Het ontbijt is fantastisch met lokale verse producten en knapperig vers brood, door Robert zelf gebakken. Lieve mensen die goed voor je zorgen. Uitstekende tips voor goede restaurants (veel in het dorp) en prachtige wandelingen. We komen graag nog een keer!

Le logement est idéalement placé, dans un petit village calme, avec des très bon restaurants, loin de l’agitation des villes plus touristiques du lac. Le ferry est à 600m, et permet de se rendre facilement à Bellagio. La literie est très confortable, la chambre décorée avec goût et d’une propreté remarquable.

En magisk vacker plats med supertrevligt värdpar som inte talar engelska men för sig förstådda ändå. Fantastiskt gos frukost och så vacker utsikt och fint rum. Vill komma tillbaka snart igen och då ta med fler!

Io e la mia amica siamo capitate nel l’alloggio di Maria per un cambio di programma rispetto ad un viaggio che avevamo in programma; siamo state accolte con gentilezza e ci siamo subito sentite a nostro agio. Il luogo era fantastico, la spa altrettanto e abbiamo avuto modo di rilassarci e goderci due giorni molto rilassanti.

We stayed for 3 nights and would have loved to stay longer! Elena was super kind and helpful, she showed us everything we needed to know. The place was also very enjoyable and the view is breathtaking! Highly recommend.

Paola è un host molto premuroso, anche grazie al suo staff pronto e gentile sia all'arrivo che alla partenza. Le istruzioni per raggiungere l'appartamento, fornite dall'host, sono precise e aiutano le indicazioni del navigatore che sono incolpevolmente incomplete. L'appartamento è nuovo, pulito, spazioso, completo e in una posizione incantevole, con un ampio sguardo sulla valle sottostante. Il riscaldamento, a caloriferi, è più che sufficiente a garantire un buon tepore anche nelle stagioni più rigide.
