Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Our suite offers a peek a boo view of the ocean and mountain landscapes that make for a stunning sunset backdrop. Along with your own private outdoor seating area to relax after a day of sightseeing.

Basecamp Strathcona Park View Chalet

This custom timber frame chalet has been rebuilt from the ashes of the old chalet that was originally built in the 80's. Basecamp Chalet gives guests the opportunity to gaze over Strathcona Park, watch the sunrises, sunsets, and moonscapes, and have a the perfect spot to experience storm watching and the snow flakes fall. Walking and hiking trails right outside the front door. A perfect getaway in any season. You will be renting the upper main two floors of the chalet.

The Eagle's Nest is an entirely private, gorgeously renovated kitchenette suite at tree top level, filled with light, with brand new bathroom, amenities, and comfort. Discover coastal bliss in our West Coast Cottage in Campbell River, just 30 mins from Mount Washington and nestled within close driving distance to Willow Point and downtown. Enjoy breathtaking ocean & mountain views, and wildlife from bald eagles to dolphins. Fire up the BBQ on your private deck, then later come enjoy the common firepit area! The cottage does not have ocean view, however, the waterfront is only 30 meters away on our property.
