Privésuites in French Flanders

This place is highly recommended! This cottage is absolutely adorable, it sits beside Dominique and Alain's house on a cute little pond. There are cats and geese and ducks wandering around, but they didn't make any noise at all! Inside, the cottage is so clever in the layout, with everything you need, from kitchen supplies (vinegar, oil, salt, sugar) to blankets and thick towels. The bed was very comfortable and the Vellux blinds kept it very dark upstairs. Alain gave me tips on hiking (I did the Ballade des Katts walk to the monastery directly from the path beside the property). The local beer in the fridge was a very nice touch and the WiFi worked perfectly, which was good because the cell reception was patchy. The landscape is beautiful and the WWI sights are poignant and well signposted. Don't miss the daily 8 pm commemoration for the fallen in Ypres at the Menon Gate. When the bagpipes played Amazing Grace, there were tears...

c'est la deuxième fois que nous venons chez Ingrid et ce ne sera pas la dernière ! Le logement est cosy, paisible et proche du centre de Coxyde. Idéal pour un séjour à deux!

Francoise’s place is wonderful! Don’t hesitate, just book. Francoise was so helpful, and wanted to make sure we had everything that we needed. She gave us brilliant directions for the bike paths in both directions for Calais beach and Fort Phillipe, and really made us feel at home with our toddler. She provided a travel cot, baby bath and high chair which made things just so much easier for us. Our only concern was that our toddler wanted to explore all the beautiful ceramics and art work in the flat, but we just hid them away just in cases! We found the best patisserie was Sophie’s in Mack which was just a ten minute drive towards Calais! Delicious! Thank you so much Francoise, we can’t wait to come again!

Très belle petite maison privative, située à l'écart (2km de Wenduine, 4km de De Haan), dans un endroit calme et verdoyant, idéale pour un couple seul. Attention, pas possible pour PMR ou personnes âgées car il faut "grimper" pour accéder à la chambre (dont le plafond est bas/incliné), mais cela rend le logement un peu atypique et ça ne nous a pas posé de problème. Très bien entretenue avec belle terrasse (avec mobilier et parasol), et place pour la voiture. Bien équipée (manque juste un petit meuble de rangement au rez, je trouve). Literie excellente. C'est la 1ère fois que je n'ai pas mal au dos en dehors de chez moi ! On profite à la fois du calme/fraîcheur de la forêt et de la plage. C'est génial ! On traverse la forêt (20-25 min) et on arrive sur la plage (après avoir traversé 2 voies rapides et les rails du tram. Prudence!). Plage quasi déserte malgré la chaleur, car en dehors des zones touristiques. Top pour s'y reposer au son des vagues. Pour nous, c'est un 10/10. On reviendra!

Emily is a wonderful hostess who went out of her way to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Her breakfasts were generous and always had fresh, new and interesting items to tempt… including cheeky chocolate chunks! The accommodation is also generous with plenty of space and, weather permitting, a lovely garden to enjoy. The position is also excellent, providing easy access to many of Belgium’s cities and attractions if you want to avoid moving from place to place. We highly recommend Emily’s place and plan to return in the future.

Toujours au top très bon logement si vous n’avez jamais essayé de dormir à la japonaise c’est la bonne adresse ! Calme hôte très bien rien à dire j’irai dès que je serai en déplacement pour le travail 🙂

Dries and Carina are wonderful host. We felt very welcome and got lots of good recommendations of spots to visit. The house itself is clean and very cozy. Great place to spend some relaxing days. But you can also go on various trips for doing some Sightseeing. I would recommend this house!

A stunning place on the outskirts of Bruges. Extremely peaceful and loved the blackout motorised blind. Ria was extremely helpful!

Très bon séjour dans le logement proposé par Franck. nous y avons séjourné a trois (2+1 bébé) pour une nuit. Nausicaa est a 25mn et très facile d'accès. Franck a été réactif par téléphone. Le logement est impeccable, neuf, moderne. Parfait en couple !

We had a great stay It was cozy, and exactly as described. The location was good and near to the beach. Communication with the host was easy and quick.

Alles wie beschrieben.Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub gehabt.Die Wohnung war sauber und man hat alles was man braucht.Der Garten sehr schön,perfekt um draußen zu frühstücken.Die Kinder haben sehr viel Spaß gehabt.Miriam war sehr freundlich und hat gleich reagiert wenn man etwas brauchte.Die Lage auch schön und ruhig,in der nahe von Meer.Wir werden gerne wieder gehen

Logement propre et conforme a la description. Le propriétaire se montre disponible si vous avez des questions ou besoin d'informations. La salle de détente était très propre et conforme à nos attentes. Excellent logement pour un séjour à 2 ou entre amis, dans un lieu tranquille

We had the cosiest, loveliest stay in Eric and Jo’s cottage-apartment! Upon arrival they had even wrote a sign with my name on saying welcome, such a sweet thought! The bed was so incredibly comfy, and shower was amazing. We are so happy we chose to stay here, and stay outside the city. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature and we enjoyed cycling into Bruges, as well as running on a morning in the countryside. We had peaceful breakfasts outside in the sun too. Eric and Jo were lovely to chat to and I only wish we had more time! They are a credit to what Airbnb should be, truly incredible hosts, and went out of their way to be welcoming, warm and full of great tips and information. Couldn’t recommend more! Thanks a million :)

Tout était impeccable dans ce gîte, très propre, très bien fourni que ce soit dans la salle de bain, dans la cuisine, ou dans le bouquet d’informations. Le jardin est très beau, et c’est encore mieux avec l’accompagnement des animaux ! J’avais un peu de crainte que les poulets soient trop bruyants le matin, mais en fait c’était très calme. Erik a été très réactif pour nous aider à trouver des magasins à côté et des pharmacies en urgence (merci encore Erik) ! Je recommande ce gîte à 100% et je reviendrai sûrement une autre fois !

Virginie and Tom are very nice, the apartment in the garden is beautiful, cozy and nice design. Check in and out worked independently and we were welcomed by three adorable cats. The bikes were great. We saw so much more of the city thanks to them.

Nina's place is a great location to experience the local community of Brugges while having convenient access to all of its attractions. Her place is modern, bright, quiet, comfortable and well appointed. The sloped ceiling in loft sleeping area makes it a bit tight, but was manageable. Nina is a thorough and responsive communicator and offered many good suggestions that enhanced my stay.

Logement très bien équipé contient tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour au calme avec la verdure. Adeline est très sympa et accueillante. Nickel pour passer un long week-end avec la famille. Pas très loin en voiture y a Touquet, Merliment( balade dans les dunes, restaurant l’ambiance trop bon), Montreuil sur mer, plages à 10-15min en voiture. Je vous le recommande. Je pense qu’on période de printemps/été ça serait bcp mieux aussi.

Geert and her husband made us feel right at home in their very roomy, neat, and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed sitting with a beer on their lovely patio that included a goldfish pond and a turtle we named Vlad. Though it was located in a pastoral location, town was easy to reach and had a good variety of restaurants/cafes. We walked to Bruges in 45 minutes and the bus back took us right by the house.
