Excellent place to stay. Close enough to the town centre but still peaceful. Plenty of space and comfortable. Easy to get out into the Lakes. Shame we can't book next year!

Eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft in einer landschaftlich tollen Umgebung! Rachel und Mike sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber und in der Wohnung haben eine Karte mit persönlicher Begrüßung, Schokolade und Getränke auf uns gewartet 😊 Von dort aus kann man prima Lake District erkunden und es ist sehr ruhig. Die Hunde von Rachel und Mike sind super lieb ☺️

Gary was responsive, professional and respectful during our stay. The place was spotless and had all the right amenities for a weekend getaway. The bathroom was a highlight. Super clean and very luxurious. There was also plenty of space for storage and a very simple way to access the building. Shops and parking are also very close-by. I’d very much recommend this place!!!!!!

A beautiful and beautifully presented Airbnb in a pretty, peaceful setting. We felt immediately at home, grateful and relaxed as soon as we entered the building. Piers, and the couple cleaning the place as we arrived (early to drop off stuff for the fridge after a 6 hour drive) were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had a delightful stay and would be very happy to stay here again. Many thanks.

Just like home from home with immediate access to all the service you expect for a walking holiday in Cumbria. Also, private car parking, access to what is now an excellent bus services in and around the local valleys and not to forget the immediate availability of the excellence of the Booths super market!

Luke & AnnaMarie’s place is perfect for exploring Moffat and the surrounding area. The spa facilities were amazing. I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

The Greta was a lovely place to stay. The house was so clean and comfortable, a home from home with plenty of space. The surroundings were lovely, private, safe for the kids and in a great location. I would definitely stay here again ❤️

It was a short stay, but everything was as described. Contact with Fleur was pleasant and nice, Fleur made sure we felt at home, Our wind turbine technicians had everything they needed.

Quarry Bank was exactly as described on the listing. It was spotlessly clean with a great range of kitchen utensils! The communal space was large enough for five friends to not feel on top of each other over a week and Chapel Stile was a great location for a week of walking, wild swimming and paddle boarding.

Perfect for our requirements. We were there only for two nights to climb Scafell Pike. The house was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable and bathrooms good. Very good price, right in the town with great amenities close by.

We loved spending Easter weekend in this lovely home. It was well equipped with everything we needed, and we enjoyed both the wood burning stove and the nice sunny terrace after exploring Cockermouth and the Lake District.

The location was excellent for walking to almost anything you need. Parking was easy to access. The unit is on second floor so small bags are easier to manage. The unit had beautiful cosy decor and coffee, tea and milk provided. It was comfortable and quiet.

This flat is lovely not far from the Turnberry hotel so great location. Clare was lovely and even dropped the key off for me at the hotel as was having lunch. Lovely quiet area the flat is in plenty of parking. Lovely surroundings beach, light house. Highly recommend will be back 💖

Could not fault this place. Simone is an excellent host. She's really friendly and helpful and so obliging. We had an issue with the smoke alarm going off in the early hours (2.30am!!), and it was a fault on the alarm. We advised her the next morning and she was onto it straight away, communicating with us as required. The kitchen had everything you need, the water was lovely and warm, the heating timer could be over-ridden, but we didn't need heating while we were there. There was not a single thing wrong with this place. Nearby is Allan House and Dove Cottage for Wordsworth fans - word to the wise - get there early before the school outings/coach tours! An Easter Break at The Beehive ,Grasmere. From clear communication & instruction, The Beehive was a perfect place to spend the Easter Break in the Lake District. Accurate description, spotlessly clean. Complimentary bottle of wine and a lovely fruit cake on arrival . The decor was lovely throughout & the apartment had everything we needed during our stay. The views from the communal garden space were lovely & an easy walk into Grasmere took us to some lovely eateries . Really enjoyed the Distillery & The Swan Hotel . Rather than use the car we hopped on & off the regular 555 & 599 buses to Ambleside, Keswick . They were so easy & cheap too. With a flexible check in & out and great communication we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will surely return . Thanks

Accommodation was in perfect location, right in the heart of Troon. Easy access and free parking was a bonus. Flat was clean, modern and had everything that we needed for the couple of days we was there for. We would return again. Thanks for having us.

We had a lovely stay in Rosie’s beautiful apartment. The flat itself was spotless with a really well equipped kitchen and everything we needed. So many lovely touches like the breakfast things (which were plentiful enough to do us for a dinner too) and snacks which fuelled us on some long walks. Rosie also had great local recommendations: Kailzie gardens is a must visit and we had a lovely meal in the very cosy Horseshoe Inn at Eddleston. The immediate area is very quiet and peaceful but 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Peebles. The neighbours are friendly too.

Lovely few days here. Quiet and relaxing. Super comfy bed. Good shower. Appreciated the dishwasher too!
