We stayed at Chris’ place to celebrate our grandson’s first birthday party. The location was ideal for us & exactly as advertised. We’ll be back to stay in the spring/summer when we can enjoy the beautiful deck, fire pit & kayaks.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was clean, it had a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms to sleep. The check-in process was easy and everything was easy to find in the home. Our kids loved the ping pong table. The hot tub was especially lovely as the weather was a bit cooler than we had hoped for! Again, a lovely visit and we would highly recommend. This is an excellently kept AirBnB and a really kind and thoughtful host. We had forgotten some belongings behind and were quickly notified and he offered to ship them back to us, making our life so much easier and solving a problem that could have been a headache! We will be back in the future!

Marc’s place checked off all our boxes for a wonderful weekend getaway celebrating my 30th birthday. Space was big enough for our 10 guests to comfortably sleep. Large dining room table to sit all of us for meals. Enough space in the backyard to play games and plenty of seating available. Fire pit was our favourite part with plenty of firewood to use! Marc was responsive to my messages and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Could not recommend this place more!

The view from this place is very beautiful, especially sunrise on the lake… Place was very clean, had everything we needed. We were able to enjoy this place on a sunny as well as rainy day, as view is visible from living room.. I am going to go back with friends again.

Kiara’s place is absolutely stunning. When you first drive in you’re greeted by the two most adorable goats! The house is at the end of the road, making is peaceful and private, your own little oasis. While the photos are beautiful the actual home is even better in person! It’s bright and airy and super fun! You have games, fire pit, an outdoor cooking space and the starlink is amazing! I was working and had no issues connecting to all of my work calls / meetings / etc. Kiara is also so lovely! She’s kind, responsive and super helpful! My travel plans changed twice and she was incredible and accommodating! I really can’t say enough about this host and location! I would HIGHLY recommend! You’re also super close to Kemptville for any groceries and Merrickville which has adorable shops. Not to mention a two minute drive to the highway to get you anywhere! I would definitely stay here again!

Dr. Brown was responsive and helpful from the minute I booked our stay. We were able to be together as a family, play pool and other activities with the home as well as get around to surrounding areas easily. It was quiet and nice to have enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we were very thankful for that.

We had an amazing time at Pete’s. The location was perfect, we had our own private beach. The kids enjoyed the provided kayaks and water toys. Our dogs lived in the water for 7 days. The house is much bigger than it appears in photos, and has ample room for a large family or group.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely home over the weekend to celebrate my birthday with my family and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. From the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful touches throughout, it’s clear that the hosts take great pride in creating a welcoming and relaxing space. The location was peaceful and perfect for a family getaway, with plenty of space to enjoy time together. 10/10 would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and well-cared-for home. We’ll definitely be back!

Taha and Assaleh were excellent hosts, wonderfully communicative. Very much appreciated how responsive they were. This is a lovely place with an incredible view - we went at the end of winter but would love to perhaps come back in the summer.

The perfect cozy home away from home, we had a lovely time!! Awesome place for kids, truly a charming cottage, we will most definitely be back next year!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le calme est saisissant, la vue sur le lac gelé Lola depuis le salon, cuisine, terrasse ou la chambre principale est incroyable. La maison est bien équipée et on se sent rapidement chez soi en quelques minutes vue la disposition, des équipements, et les meubles installés. La réactivité et la disponibilité du hôte Chris est salutaire .Petite cerise sur le gâteau nous avons eu droit à des feux d'artifice le 31 décembre au soir organisé par le petit centre communautaire de la région. Je recommande ce cottage pour vous reposer et surtout vous déconnecter de la vie stressante des grandes villes. On y retournera surement pour les activités d'été

Great place to get out of the city! This is the second time we have stayed here and it was great. Very clean and the hosts are very responsive.

Kelly’s place felt like Grandma’s Cottage, in all of the best ways possible. It felt like a home away from home. Everything is well thought out, with touches of vintage decor and boardgames. It felt like a blast from my childhood and was really special watching my son play with toys I would have played with as a young kid. My whole family felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, bonfires and cute town of Wakefield. We would definitely recommend and would rent again! Thanks so much Kelly for your wonderful hospitality!

Our long weekend at this charming cottage was nothing short of magical. Tucked away in a serene and tranquil location, the peaceful ambiance was a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage itself exuded warmth and character, adorned with delightful local decorations that truly captured the essence of the area. It felt like a home away from home, with every corner telling a unique story. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the picturesque view of the lake right in front of the cottage. Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature and the sight of the tranquil waters was a truly enchanting experience. But what truly set this experience apart was the host. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their responsiveness, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and valued.

The only thing we felt was missing was an indoor fireplace, which would have made the experience even cozier. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Domaine Labrador. Nous sommes une famille avec deux jeunes enfants et un petit chien. Le site nous a permis de décrocher de la routine, de se relaxer et de profiter d'un grand site très sécuritaire avec les enfants pour s'amuser dans la neige. Hélène nous a répondu rapidement à nos questions, nous a donnés des détails pertinents pour le séjour et a été très accueillante à notre arrivé. Le chalet était magnifique et très propre. Je recommende fortement cet endroit.

This is a perfect lakeside cottage! It’s like a little tree house right on top of the water’s edge. Clean, bright, and exactly as pictured. The downstairs porch is perfect for curling up with a book. The shared waterfront space is another peaceful, lovely space to relax. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. I didn’t explore the surrounding area at all. Easy drive from Ottawa, and right off the main road, so it was easy to find. Host responded immediately to all questions and requests. As the listing shows, there are stairs involved, and not much flat land for running around, so keep that in mind if you’re bringing a dog. It was perfect for my little old pug who gets carried anyway and only needs a small plot to roam. You will also hear noise from vehicles coming over the bridge, as stated in the listing. So if you’re seeking complete isolation or silence this might not be your best option. It didn’t bother me a bit! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful spot to stay! We had a great time staying in the comfort and clean space, and loved the scenery. Francis had great communication and the Kayaks on the lake were super nice to take out as well. Very pleased with our stay!

Pretty view of the Rideau River. Quiet spot to relax, take a stroll around the neighborhood. The kitchen had everything that was needed to cook. Comfy bed with a great view.

This is a wonderful place and it exceeded our expectations. The home and surroundings are exactly as advertised. Lots of great room for guests to do things together (eat, play games, talk) or spend some alone time with nature. We loved our stay here and much fun was had at the shuffleboard table.
