Welcome to The Best Dam Cabin! We're located on the San Marcos River, just a short drive to Austin and San Antonio. This hand-built tiny cedar cabin is nestled inside an early 1900’s cotton gin. Includes unlimited river access and the use of paddle boards/kayaks with your stay. Whether you want to get away and read a good book near the river, go fishing or play games with the family, there's fun for everyone of all ages. Its location is very quiet and secluded. Go for a walk down the hiking trails where you may see deer, squirrels, hummingbirds, roadrunners, rabbits, grey foxes, lizards, butterflies.... Relax with your favorite beverage on the covered front porch where you can see amazing sunsets and the stars at night.
