Upper Ayrston was private and secluded with a stunning view of the valley and the distant Abercrombie hills. I had lots of questions about the farm stay and Stephanie was always prompt and helpful with her replies. The house was spacious and clean and fitted our two families very comfortably. We took numerous short walks enjoying beautiful sunsets. Would definitely recommend and hope to get back soon.

Margaret’s cottage was very clean and well-appointed (the little things like bath robes and good quality towels were a nice touch). The two lovely decks/verandas were great to enjoy all the generous supply Margaret had provided (fresh breakfast produce, jams, teas etc.) on. We and our dog had a great stay!

Beautifully peaceful! Classic country style charm, with tasteful decor inside an older building that exudes memories from the past, with everything one needs. A very short drive into town that's out of the way but easy to find. Great escape 😃

Thank you, Kathleen, for a memorable first farm stay for our little boys! We absolutely love Kathleen’s beautiful space. Our boys got to feed the animals (the cows and sheep were the highlights for sure!). The sandpit and cubby house with a view are just amazing. Kathleen was very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We had the clearest skies full of stars when we stayed there. We will definitely be back!

My kids and I had such a wonderful stay at Kate’s place. It was comfortable, warm and homely and had everything we needed. The view was idyllic and it just felt so peaceful. Kate & Bruce were lovely hosts and were very kind to my kids, letting us go and have cuddles with the puppies at the kennels down the road. Kate left us a bowl of delicious homegrown persimmons one of the evenings we were which was a lovely gesture. I highly recommend this accommodation, we are very keen to come back!

Rebecca went above & beyond to understand my requirements and help me out. The cottage felt like walking into your best friend's home - homely, welcoming and with everything you need. Plus it is super dog friendly and there's way more to do and see in this area than I realised! It's great when the host as well as the property exceed your expectations and that's the experience I had here. Whether you want an overnight stop, or a longer stay there's everything you'll need here.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Arabella Guest House- it felt like our home away from home! Both hosts were welcoming, friendly, and generous. We receieved fresh tomatoes from the garden regularly, free of charge and the kids loved playing with Leo, the dog. The grounds of the property were stunning and peaceful. Both hosts were extremely responsive to any requests or questions we had during our stay. I would highly recommend staying at the Arabella Guest House.

Susie's place is beautiful and very peaceful! We could have easily spent several more days there enjoying the amazing views of the countryside and the tranquility of the gardens. The accommodation is very comfortable and cozy, with a lot of attention to detail. Susie is a great host and very helpful. We highly recommend Susie's place.
