We loved this place! We were looking for something more halfway between Sydney and Melbourne but fell for this place and just had to book. We’re glad we did. The bed was super comfy and the standard was well above most pet friendly place. We only stayed the night and didn’t really use the kitchen. Our only concern was that our dog is petrified of the wind turbines and even though they were far away in the distance, it made her freak out and not want to be outside. Rachel said she hadn’t had other dogs react like that (including her own), so think it could be just our dog being a bit weird. 🫣 We arrived after midnight and Dean was still up to ensure we found the place ok. This stay is absolutely beautiful! Sunrise is right outside the window, beautiful to wake up and watch while you’re still in bed. You feel isolated in a peaceful way. Anita is lovely, responding fast and clearly. The kitchen & bathroom had everything we needed.

Such a lovely country stay with beautiful surroundings. The interiors of the home were so charming and comfortable. Waking up to the horses almost outside the front door was very special. Perfect for a dog friendly weekend away (yard is completely enclosed). Thanks again, we had the most amazing time!

Genuinely the loveliest trip ever. Was so nice to disconnect from phones. We brought board games and craft activities thinking we may need time to past time but we didn’t need to touch any of that! Was so so much to do on the property, you’ll never get sick of just sitting and watching the view. The opportunity to cook our meals on the fire outside was amazing. Will definitely be back thank you!

Rangers Lodge is an absolutely stunning place to stay. The two fireplaces make the house feel extra cozy and homey and the kitchen is so beautiful. The views are a definite plus and added to the peaceful feeling of the property. Myself and my guests also all slept fantastically on the extremely comfortable beds and loved the amount of natural lighting in the house. Leticia is a wonderful host, super responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be staying again!

We loved Daniel's place in Palmerston. The decor is lovely and he has thought of everything to make you feel at home. Generous with towels & cleaning products as well as coffee, tea and condiments. The area is so quiet, you could hear a pin drop! Beds were super comfortable and there was ample blankets/pillows which was great as change of season meant it was a little cooler than expected. We did a bit of cooking and there was everything we needed in the kitchen to make this possible. We hope to be back again soon. Thanks Daniel, you're a great host!

The Outpost cabin was beautiful. The location on the winery was perfect and the little touches inside the cabin made us feel right at home. Only a 2min walk from the cellar door which had some delicious wines to taste. Highly recommend!!

Yass Country Retreat lived up to our expectations and was perfect for us as a base to explore the region. The property was clean, well furnished and stocked with many extras not always provided in similar properties. The hosts were very proactive and responsive in their communication making sure that we were comfortable and ready to accommodate any requests we may have had. I would highly recommend this property for a quiet but central place to stay in the Yass region.
