The house is a short drive to Lumberman's Memorial, Sturgeon Point Lighthouse, and Dinosaur Gardens. It is near US 23; there will be road noise.

There are about 50 steps (stairs) from the backyard down to the beach with fire pit. Greenbush is between Tawas and Alpena, 15 min drive from Oscoda.
