Nestled at the head of Pigeon Hill Bay, our cottage is surrounded by 20 acres of fields, marshland, private walking paths, and a private pebble beach on the ocean with views of the Atlantic. Acadia National Park is nearby (1 hour plus) or take the ferry (20 minutes away) to BarHarbor. Acadia Park Schoodic Point is a must see (20 minutes). Enjoy our kayaks, our recommended day trips, blueberry picking, visiting white-tailed deer. For a full week stay we serve a lobster shore dinner for two.

There are water views, ocean breezes, it is literally steps from the state park beach and pond, and you can listen to the waves while sitting on the expansive front porch or at night as you fall asleep. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom are fully stocked with everything you need, and if you feel like going into town, it is a quick 12-minute drive up the road to Machias. You might not want to leave once you get here, though!

From the deck, you can access the downstairs where you will find an additional bedroom, bathroom and porch/deck.

Bella Vista is a cozy, 2 bedroom house with views of Englishman's Bay and Roque Island. The house is set just a few feet away from the soft white sand of Sandy River Beach. You will enjoy magnificent ocean views and comfy accommodations. Stroll the ½ mile sandy beach collecting sea glass and other treasures washed in by the waves. At low tide, hike across the sand bar to explore a nearby island.
