Huisjes in Guimaraes

This house is in the most STUNNING location with AMAZING views. We arrived early hours and Tiago was more than helpful at this time. We were told of the house’s rich religious history which is reflected in the artwork and decor of the house. 7 of us stayed for 8 days 2 couples and 3 teens More than enough space for everyone to have their own privacy and more than enough room for 10 people. The grounds had fig, Apple and lemon trees which we were told we are more than welcome to use. Aldi and Lidl were a 15 minute drive (we rented a car) which was perfect for evening barbecues (huge wood oven outside as well as small grills) The pool was stunning, we spent most days in there from morning till night. It’s a great size and easy to shade with umbrellas if needed. We left our inflatables there for the next person, which someone had also done before we arrived, which was a nice touch. We can’t thank Tiago enough for an amazing 8days. Will defo visit again

Local lindo, natureza pura, bem cuidado, as habitações encontram-se bem localizadas para desfrutar de paz e descanso, com todas as comodidades necessárias para lazer ou homework. O cuidado nos pormenores e detalhes quer dentro de casa quer fora é fora do comum, parabéns aos responsáveis. A comunicação foi sempre pronta e rápida, por tudo merecem um toque 5 estrelas.

Tivemos dias incríveis na Villa Margaridi. O espaço é lindo, com total privacidade e tudo o que é necessário, seja para tirar uns dias a relaxar ou mesmo para conhecer a cidade. Destaque também para o Vinho do Porto servido à tarde e ao pão fresco deixado à porta todas as manhãs. Com certeza uma experiência a se repetir!

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel ! Les hôtes sont d’une gentillesse rare, très attentionnés et à l’écoute : on sent qu’ils mettent tout leur cœur à accueillir leurs invités. Les équipements sont tout simplement incroyables : piscine, jacuzzi, terrain de tennis, salle de musculation… tout est parfaitement entretenu et pensé pour le confort. C’est sans aucun doute l’un des meilleurs Airbnb que nous ayons faits. Merci encore, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Tiago did more than expected. From welcoming cake, unexpected wine tour and requests answered immediately. When we panicked about the fires, he calmed us. This Airbnb is a haven of tranquility. Fresh fruit from trees!!! Vale da Cambra unspeakable beauty and hospitality. Not a lot of English speaking, but at the end we got what we wanted.

Gran alojamiento y gran anfitrion , nos sentimos como en casa . Fernando y su mujer son excelentes personas . Disfrutamos nuestra estancia y la casa era super comoda . Esperamos volver muy pronto.

Pasamos catro días fantásticos na casa de Esmeralda! Está nunha aldea preciosa e ben comunicada: a unha hora de Vigo e moi perto de Paredes de Coura, Ponte de Lima ou Arcos de Valdevez. A casa, de arquitectura tradicional, está moi ben restaurada. É bonita e confortable, ben decorada, cun bo baño e todo tipo de aparellos e utensilios para cociñar. O colchón e as almofadas son cómodas e a roupa de cama e as toallas son prefectas. O xardín e bonito e conta con tumbonas, mesas e cadeiras para gozar tamén do exterior. Esmeralda foi simpática e educada. Voltaremos seguro!

Casa impecável! Foi restaurada não faz muito pouco tempo, possui ótimos equipamentos e mobiliário em geral. Muito bonita e bem decorada. É localizada em uma aldeia com muito tranquila. Altamente recomendado para encontros familiares e períodos de descanso. Helder foi sempre comunicativo e prestativo. Tivemos um pequeno contratempo e Helder foi muito atencioso e ágil na resolução. Tivemos a oportunidade de conhece-lo e foi muito simpático. Enfim, passamos excelentes momentos em família na Casa Titos. Altamente recomendado!

Ganz besonderer Ort direkt am Douro. Wunderschöne Terrasse mit Pool, Liegen und Garten mit Obstbäumen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wonderful stay here for 5 days. Helena was quick and responsive throughout. When I arrived, I met Paula, Sofia, Martinho and Francisco who welcomed and showed me the house and area. So generous to offer me a bottle of wine, water, biscuits on my arrival. The house is cozy and peaceful with a view of the farm where the sheep roam during the day. Comfortable bed, linen and beautiful antique decor to keep with the theme. Kitchen has a small fridge, kettle, microwave and stove. Beautiful spaces to walk and rest under fruit trees, 2 swimming pools in a peaceful natural setting. Even my cat, Samson enjoyed it. For company, we also had a cute friendly dog, Nina. It is a short drive to centre of Fafe, a lovely town with charming architecture. Helena provided useful recommendations on what to do and where to go. Guimaraes is a beautiful place, only 20 minutes from the house. All in all, a great stay and I'm happy to revisit one day again. Thanks for a great stay!

The home is a great place to just get away from it all and relax. The grounds are peaceful with lots of fruit trees. If you like nature you will love it.

Tive uma estadia maravilhosa nesta casa de pedra aconchegante. O ambiente é super tranquilo, ideal para quem busca descanso em meio à natureza, e a casa estava impecavelmente limpa e bem equipada. A anfitriã Célia foi extremamente simpática e atenciosa, nos recebeu com muita cordialidade e compartilhou ótimas dicas de passeios pela região. Além disso, esteve sempre disponível para qualquer suporte que precisássemos. Recomendo muito e com certeza voltaria!

Hemos pasado una semana en la casa de André y volvimos encantados. Casa familiar en un entorno natural precioso. El bosque, los árboles y todo el jardín estaban super cuidados. Un lugar para relajarse, descansar y disfrutar en plena naturaleza. La piscina perfecta para los niños. Muchas gracias por la acogida, tus padres son encantadores. Volveremos!!!

הגענו ליחידה פשוט יפייפיה, מקום שקט, נקי, המון צמחים ודשה שנותנים אווירה שלווה, רגועה ונוחה, יש מתחם משותף בו יש מיני צרכניה, שולחן פינג פונג וסנוקר, נדנדות, ערסלים, בריכה, ומיני מגרש כדור רגל. Ana מאוד חברותית ונחמדה נתנה לנו הרגשה ביתית וטובה, עזרה לנו בהמלצות ודאגה לשמוע שהכל בסדר ולא חסר לנו כלום. היה פשוט החוויה הכי טובה בטיול שלנו. ממליצים מאוד! חוויה נהדרת.

We loved the outdoor dining room and the wonderful little community on a hill. The location is not necessarily super remote, or quiet, but makes up for this by having a great, central location in Pina Geres and being right next to really cool little beaches and a short drive from the beautiful waterfalls up in the mountains.

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks at Maria Luisa’s place. The house was perfect for a family of four with two teenagers. The house and garden were very private and we always had the pool to ourselves, but it was reassuring to know that Maria Luisa was nearby if needed. We enjoyed the walk into Caminha, although it definitely takes longer to get back up the hill than it does to walk to walk down! The town itself has everything you need; plentiful restaurants, small supermarkets and lots of cafes. We were also lucky enough to be there for the annual medieval festival. My husband loved his daily runs in the hills and along the coast, and we enjoyed a great kayaking trip on the Coura river. There are also some good walks from the house with spectacular viewing points. I’d recommend a car to be able to visit the local area more easily. We enjoyed trips to Braga, Viana de Castelo, Guimarães, Porto and Santiago de Compostela. All recommended! Thank you Maria Luisa for a fabulous stay!

Little oasis near the town. Really nice pool area and fantastic breakfast spread.

We had such a fabulous time in Seixas at Ricardo and Andreia’s house. It is a truly a magical place. Ricardo and Andreia are incredible hosts, a special shout out to Andreia specifically who could not have been more helpful - she was incredibly accommodating throughout our stay and always on hand with restaurant recommendations, ideas for day trips, amongst others. The house itself is truly stunning. It is full of character and so tastefully designed. Ricardo and Andreia really factored everything in creating such a luxury environment; they left no stone unturned and it’s evident the minute you arrive - such thought, effort & careful consideration was applied throughout their loving home. The house has the most incredible views and immediately offers a place of tranquility and zen. We particularly enjoyed the stillness of the Seixas evenings sitting out by the pool.

Foi um fim-de-semana espetacular entre amigos. 21 pessoas dormiram e aproveitaram a casa confortavelmente! A casa está muito bem equipada a nível de utensílios de cozinha e casa-de-banho. Os quartos são super confortáveis com ótimo isolamento térmico e acústico. Referir que quase todos os espaços da casa tem ar condicionado. Definitivamente um experiência a repetir! Alice est une hôte très accueillante et disponible. Nous voulions un endroit au calme dans la nature et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Juste dommage que la météo n'ai pas été au rendez-vous ce qui ne nous a pas permis de profiter de ce bel endroit en pleine nature. La prochaine fois nous reviendrons en été.
