I had a wonderful stay at Nirmala's Homestay. The place was cozy, well-maintained, and had a very peaceful atmosphere. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, with lush green trees all around and a charming little waterfall nearby that added to the serenity of the place. Mornings were especially magical, waking up to the soothing sounds of birds chirping. It was the perfect escape from city life, offering a refreshing and relaxing experience. The hosts were warm and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway close to nature, this homestay is an excellent choice! Highly recommended

Special mention to Rakshanda, our lovely hostess, whose hospitality made us feel so at home. Her team, including the sweetest cook akka and the ever-helpful caretakers, were all wonderful. Breathtaking Location & Beautiful Property The location is pure bliss — surrounded by lush greenery and calm, with a serene lake right in front of our beautiful, spacious duplex. The view from our window overlooking the water was a daily dose of peace and beauty. The environment was incredibly private, which made our stay all the more special. Location is very tranquil, calm, and soothing. The hosts are very friendly did everything needed to make our stay memorable. Pallavi and her mother in law are very good cooks. We toured their farm where they grow coffee and pepper. There are a number of waterfalls and historic temples in the area that are worth visiting and not to forget the hikes that lead to beautiful views of the mountains and green valley. On areas for improvement, the place has one bathroom for a room of 8 people and an additional shared bathroom for the 3 rooms. The hosts can increase the number of shared bathrooms.

The host also offers a bonfire experience at an additional cost, which is highly recommended for a cozy evening. What stood out the most was the 24/7 availability of hot water in the cold weather—an absolute blessing! Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic retreat with excellent hospitality.

"A Tranquil Haven Surrounded by Nature's Bliss" I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mugilu with my wife and our furry companion. This hidden gem nestled in the Western Ghats proved to be an absolute paradise for nature enthusiasts and pet lovers alike. Mugilu, meaning "clouds" in Kannada, truly lives up to its name. The sprawling 10-acre plantation surrounded by meadows and plains offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The lush greenery and open spaces create an idyllic setting that instantly puts you at ease. Our stay was elevated by the sheer joy Chiku experienced. The property's openness provided him with the freedom to run and play, making fast friends with resident dogs Chutki, Imli, and others. Watching him explore the forest and open areas was a heartwarming experience and something that's not easily achievable in a city setting. The warmth and hospitality of the hosts made our stay even more memorable. All the best to the Mugilu team.
