Stunningly renovated and styled property. We were there in autumn which meant we had the good fortune of experiencing the stunning garden and beautiful Daylesford in all its glory. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our Easter stay. Loved the Kennedy Smith hand soaps and diffusers, the ample blankets and the fabulous vinyl player! Such a treat to have Beethoven playing all day in these beautiful rustic yet sophisticated surrounds. Walking distance to everything. Please continue maintaining St.Etienne to these high standards. We fell in love and hope to be back soon.

The property was perfection in every way! The beds were super comfy, large living space, stunning artwork scatted throughout the house, peaceful surroundings and a wonderful hot tub to enjoy in the evenings. I also don't think I have ever been to an Airbnb that clean - it was spotless! We will be back soon! Thank you, Daniel.

This was our second time staying at Richard's lovely country property. The kids loved the open space, and playing with their remote control boat on the little dam. The gardens and surrounds were lovely, with easy access to Daylesford and Hepburn Springs shops/ pubs etc, and the communication and instructions from Richard were excellent!

Great stay in the heart of Hepburn. Easy walk to restaurants and springs walk. Will be returning to this beauty.

We had a fantastic time there as a family with our 2 primary school age kids and our dog. The property was really well looked after and equipped with everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the verandah for breakfast or sunset surrounded by kangaroos and even a couple of deer one morning. It feels really remote but was only ten minutes drive into Trentham or 20 minutes to Daylesford. The kids woke up excited each morning so we appreciated the coffee too!

Spent a relaxing week here over Easter. Great choice. This is a very stylish house with all the mod cons, in beautifully landscaped grounds on a hill above lake Daylesford. The privacy and surrounding bush made you feel miles away yet you are only a few minutes walk through the trees down to the lake. Very generous welcome basket full of goodies and a great bottle of wine. We enjoyed our morning coffees watching birds take turns drinking from the birdbath next to the deck. Large open plan living has windows on three sides to soak in the view and the sunshine. Big kitchen and adjoining butler's pantry packed with all the glasses, crockery, utensils and gadgets you could possibly need, including picnic hampers and blankets. Loved having a fire at night and sitting out under the stars when not heading out for dinner. We ate too many tomatoes but they were so sweet and perfect off the vine! regretted having to leave to come back to Melbourne and work. Highly recommended.

The lakeside suite was serene. Tidy clean and quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. The lakeside suite is walking distance from Vincent Street and the lake is easily accessible. The decking could do with a little bit of TLC and being on the lower level we could hear our neighbours above us. Nonetheless, our stay was lovely.

Beautiful outlook over Lake Daylesford, fabulous large balcony to relax on. Easy to walk around the lake, and up to the restaurants and shops. Spacious bedroom, bathroom and living space. Super comfortable and clean.

Great location and friendly staff, would come back here again

Had a wonderful stay, the place was everything as described, spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you need, and we especially liked that it was so close to Lake Daylesford. The balcony backed out onto the lake and was the prefect spot to relax and watch the sunset. Something to note for anyone with mobility issues, this suite (3) can only be accessed by a slightly steep flight of stairs which proved to be a little difficult for my elderly mum, would’ve have been great if this was included in the details beforehand. There also seemed a slight problem with toilet seat (wasn’t fitted properly) and some information contained in the ‘information file’ in the suite contradicted with the details (check-out times) that was provided. However overall, we had a fabulous stay, it is a gorgeous place and would definitely recommend!

Booked this property for my parents to stay on their wedding anniversary. They were very impressed with the property and loved their stay. It had everything they needed and was in a beautiful location. Communication was prompt and booking was very easy. Would recommend!

Great location easy walk to the main area. Only a small house, but served our needs. Even though it was a cold weekend, the heating was able to get the house warm. Would stay again!

Had a fabulous stay at this gorgeous little cottage. Close to the lake and a stroll into town to cafes and restaurants. Located in beautiful peaceful surroundings with secure fencing for my dog. I enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the little wrens hopping around. I felt right at home staying at Bidwell Cottage and left feeling so relaxed. I hope to come back soon.

Three friends in need of time out, stayed together in this gorgeous cottage. Styling, property, location, the perfect package for a get away. We would recommend to couples, small families or friends. Would love to come back with my family

The cottage was lovely, very clean and cosy. It is well equipped with heating and blankets/ duvets for colder months. There was a lovely welcome basket with fruit and breakfast foods. As well as milk, tea etc. I highly recommend the Farmers Arms and Cliffy’s cafe which are both very close. The cottage has a beautiful garden. Everything was easy to use and the layout was great with plenty of space, a large kitchen with a table, lounge and comfy beds!
