Beautiful surroundings and a lovely place to stay. Bessie was a superb host and we will definitely be back.

I had the best sleep I have had in a long time at Bessie's loft. Her home and garden are most peaceful and serene. She even gave me a fog off the tree! I will definitely stay again on my way to Cape Town.

Fish Eagle Lodge is in a stunning location with beautiful views of the mountains and river / dam. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed braaing and relaxing on the stoep and watching the light change over the valley. Our boys even caught their first fish!

What a wonderful place to spend a winter weekend break. The stay was quiet, peaceful and perfectly serene. Everything was "as advertised" and then some! Sonja was a wonderful hostess and only helped to make the stay even better. We will, without doubt, return to Kewtu as soon as we can and I hope that you give it your serious consideration when looking for a real hidden gem so close to the city.

We really enjoyed staying at Tradouw Guest house. Penelope and Margaret were very friendly, accommodating and helpful hosts. We loved our room, it was perfect for us for the evening, but perhaps a bit small for longer stays. Our room walked out on the garden and it was so peaceful and quiet. Penny and Margaret were very insightful of where to go, to eat and what to do. We didn't have enough time for everything but we will definitely be back and will stay here again! The property was immaculate. The gardens a dream. The accommodation was better than the photographs. Beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings. The two Great Danes were unobtrusive. A great place to stay. We certainly recommend and will return on another occasion

Unser Aufenthalt bei Melani war rundum super. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön angelegt und sieht wirklich genauso aus, wie auf den Bildern. Man hat absolute Ruhe und zugleich gibt es alles, was man braucht, in naher Umgebung. Melani war super hilfsbereit, stets präsent und interessiert und dabei absolut nicht aufdringlich. Klare Empfehlung auf der Garden Route, nah am De Hoop Nature Reserve.

Wir haben uns in der kleinen aber feinen Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Nähe zum Strand und zum Fluss ist ein riesen Vorteil. Die Lage allgemein ist wirklich Top. Der Check-in war super einfach.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was charming, the gardens so beautiful and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking. It was easy to walk to nearby shops and restaurants - very conveniently located. Lovely linen, comfortable matrasses and we were spoilt with the Rain toiletries in the bathroom. Thank you to our host, David, we would love to visit again!

It is a lovely accommodation, perfect for a short getaway for 2. Huge plus is that there is strong wifi incase one must sort out business online. The room was well organized and clean. Check-in and communication with the host was easy and efficient. For Winter trips, there are lots of blankets and covers as well as heating lights in the bathroom. Just a heads-up to buy some groceries or premade food as there are few general stores in the area.
