Cottage on the Hogback

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sitting on the Hogback on a small Isthmus in Barry county. The only “mountain” in the county. Amazing views and always a breeze blowing. 3 bedrooms, a full size kitchen, two sitting rooms, 2 bathrooms (one full, one half) , all in this 100 year old cottage. Overlooking amazing wetlands. The birds in the area are amazing, sand hill cranes stop here as they migrate, bald eagles, loons, ospreys, waterfowl and even an occasional golden eagle.

Hidden in the woods

Quiet, country setting that comfortably accommodates two. This space is above our garage, which is not attached to our house. We have lots of chickens, curious cats and a couple of friendly goats. We are often outside working or playing, but the apartment is very private once you are upstairs!! There is NO WiFi here. There IS a lovely, private balcony with a nice view, lots of movies, and fun games. Verizon service works great here, so if you have a Hotspot you could hook up to our smart TV.
