Stained glass, brick floor and exposed beams throughout the cottage. Our charming and cosy cottage is around half an hour from Cambridge and Saffron Walden. With ample scenic countryside walks and bridle ways on our doorstop, you're truly spoilt for choice. *We now use an Electrostatic Sprayer to disinfect all surface and soft furnishings. *

Escape to the country and stay in a cosy converted barn with a log burning stove and a secluded sunny patio area with outdoor dining and barbeque. Positioned in the beautiful countryside near Ware town, Cold Christmas has an abundance of lovely walks and is conveniently situated close to Hanbury Manor and Fanhams Hall, both of which offer a variety of amenities including a golf course, health spa and fine dining. Black Squirrel Barn is a converted 3 bed 2 bath barn. It is completely self contained so you have your privacy but I am close by to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious yet homely with cosy underfloor heating downstairs. Close by are two lovely pubs with fab food. You can also find a little post office within 5 mins walk. We are also conveniently near Harpenden Train station with fast links into Kings Cross St Pancras.

Downstairs is a log burning stove, a sofa/double bed, and all facilities needed. French doors open to a patio over the river and woodland views. 40 minutes from London and you're in another world.
