Ōkaihau Ridge Hideaway

Our place is situated on the Ōkaihau Ridge overlooking the Waihou Valley. The guest room is attached to our new garage and has an ensuite. It's the perfect overnight stop for cyclists on the Twin Coasts Cycleway, for those wanting to explore the area or looking to go on further into the Far North. There is one King sized bed, and a Queen Escoa fold out bed. Ideal for 2 but we can fit 4. It’s a 10 minute stroll to the town center or a 2 minute drive.

‘Oranga’ is situated high in the hills above Kohukohu in stunning native bush. Three separate self-contained accommodations are all unique and styled with guests' comfort and convenience in mind (view on my profile page). It's the ideal spot for a weekend escape to the country or as the midway point to visit Cape Reinga and magnificent Tane Mahuta. We are 6kms from Kohukohu Village (gravel road) and 11kms from the Hokianga Ferry.
