This place had everything we wanted and was in the perfect area! It was the perfect place for a slow weekend getaway. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Aubrey was very responsive. My husband left his favorite shirt and Aubrey responded to his message immediately and said she would have his shirt sent to him. The house was in a perfect location, within walking distance to all the bar, shops and restaurants. It is a super cute and clean house and the fenced in backyard worked great for our dogs.

Great home, great hosts! Would stay here again without hesitation. It was nice to be just a little north of the heart of Duluth. It was convenient to be closer to the great parks and businesses near Two Harbors. I appreciated the lighting throughout the house (especially on the stairs). It's great to be in a rental property that has some soft lighting available vs only "big bright lights"! There were some lovely touches that were much appreciated including really great coffee and a basket of "just in case" things like if you forget your toothpaste (which I did!). Quiet. Lovely nature everywhere. Comfortable. Thank you!!

Excellent stay! The location is ideal for a north shore adventure and the cabin makes a fantastic basecamp. Comfortable, clean, and thoughtful arranged to accommodate outdoor gear, cooking needs, and hang out space. Not to mention the Lake superior view and private waterfront space!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this cabin. Truly couldn't be closer to the lake without getting wet! Very well located for Split Rock Lighthouse, Tettagouchee State Park, and Gooseberry Falls. Very comfortable and peaceful.

What a wonderful place to play & relax for our North Shore adventure! Enjoyed everything about it!

This was my third stay at "Sweet Retreat" and it never disappoints! Terri is a wonderful host and makes sure we have everything we need for our stay! The coffee and scones are such a nice treat! We enjoy stopping in at the coffee shop just below the Airbnb. We enjoy walking through this quaint little village and to Lake Superior! We will be back and highly recommend Sweet Retreat! So convenient to Bayfield but nice to return to a quiet setting!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Corny Cottage. Everything was clean and looked as the pictures showed. The home decor was adorable! From the stained glass pictures in the sun porch, Moroccan tiled island in the kitchen to the lake-themed artwork and sand design coffee table in the living room, everything was light and fun! And with the cool Spring temps, the very large windows facing the lake were such a plus! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Erin, for making our stay a relaxing and fun getway!

Place was fantastic. We stayed 3 nights (March, 2025) with four young kids, two adults. Everything is very well communicated/clear (access, entry, garage, rules, etc) everything is known up front (kitchen items, fireplace, etc) Place is big and quiet too. Very clean, updated, cozy, and well lit (also with blackout curtains in all bedrooms) Kitchen is nice with everything you need to cook, including a grill (already had tea, keurig coffee and cups, oil, seasonings, including paper towels, zip locks, detergent, soap, etc) There is everything you need for the beach (chairs, toys, towels). Tons of games, puzzles, and books. But the best of all..... private beach, sauna, tons of firewood, garage, AND a washer/dryer. Fantastic North Shore Location (near Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls, Two Harbors, Tettegouche, etc). It's quiet, it's big, it's got everything you need, it's a great set up and we would proudly recommend this place to any of our family and friends!
