We had a lovely stay at Driftwood. The house was just as described and pictured. Parking was a bit tricky due to the layout of the buildings but not an issue. The house itself was beautiful with a lovely beach theme throughout, equipped with everything you could need, and perfectly located within easy reach of the beach, town, restaurants and train line to Brighton. Simone was a great host from start to finish, checking in with us to ensure all was ok and even telling us where the parasol was for the decking when she realised how warm it was. Altogether a perfect long weekend away was had!

Jonathan was a great host who quickly responded to any messages. The house is well equipped and had anything you need for your stay, great clear instructions for any appliances etc.

No complaints from staff staying in location, was lovely when I popped in, only issue was a shower head missing but Joe rectified this quickly. The guide book on the house left was really useful, was a bit stuck with the boiler not being on long enough but book explained how to turn it on etc so was really useful. Location was good and space was very large, especially for Chichester. Would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It had everything we needed, was very spacious, and in a perfect location. The beach is just a short walk away, and it's very easy to get into Brighton.

The sitting room really looks like the photo and is a great place to be - both to relax and to eat. We were only four, but eight would be comfortable. The kitchen was small, but well equipped and fun to be in, open to the sitting room. Three comfy bedrooms and two bathrooms, all on one floor. Quiet, but convenient. Lucy & Richard were very responsive.

Home from home! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and there were three sitting areas - kitchen, lounge and two areas in the garden. Drying rack for wet swim gear. Comfy seating and beds - and close to shops, beach and lido - also the beautiful South Downs.

Had a wonderful time at Gabby's house . It felt so welcoming, peaceful, clean and loved. Gabby was excellent at communicating and always helpful. It took about 15 minutes to walk into the centre of Brighton with cafes and pubs on the way. I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Great lodge, small and beautiful. Garden was massive and things to do for children. Warm inside and beds was very comfortable, such a lovely relaxing lodge. Host was amazing was available to communicate and was happy for me to have my hen ladies there. Only 1 annoying part was the dirt road leading up too gate. As u wouldnt realise to go up it.. easy to miss. BUT still 10/10.. cant wait to go back for a nice night away.

Excellent property. Owners were really nice. Can’t wait to go again when the pool is open. Went to a local pub called Coach & horses, excellent food there. We took our dog and owners kindly asked if we kept her on the lead when in garden of property as they have sheep but there’s a massive field with a woodland walk out back so was fine to let off the lead then. Barn is exactly as described. There’s some good little board games there and our kids got a bit obsessed with cluedo. Was expecting to be chilly as it’s a barn but the underfloor heating makes it really warm and cosy. Will definitely come back.

Had such a wonderful stay at the lodge, beautiful surroundings overlooking the lake, just stunning and the hot tub was a great edition. Lovely bottle of Prosecco waiting for us on arrival as well which was a nice touch.

For my first holiday away with my 2 beautiful children I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better stay. The cottage is beautiful, the gardens and surrounding grounds are stunning, simply a lovely place to be. We spent a lot of time in the cottage and use if the new fire pit in the evenings as it was so peaceful and relaxing. 2 main attractions for us were Pooh Corner with Ashdown Forrest for all your Winnie the Pooh adventures, and Hever Castle which is a lovely day out. Tennis courts and a lovely pool to boot ❤️❤️❤️ Caroline left some beautiful touches, some Easter treats for my children and a host of food and fresh juice, lovely 😍❤️

Highly recommended, lovely location close to Eastbourne, Hastings & Brighton. Shirley couldn’t have done more to make our stay a home from home. Very welcoming and helpful, looking forward to staying again in the future. Thank you.

We had an amazing couple of nights celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary. Lovely dip in the pool as we were blessed with the weather on the first day. BBQ both evenings and got the fire pit going at night. We explored the grounds and made friends with the dogs and chickens! We ventured out to a local traditional pub called the halfway house which has a great beer garden and reachable on foot in 30 mins. Toby and Kate are fantastic hosts and kindly provided eggs from the coop, sour dough bread and some delicious flapjacks! Toby was also very helpful assisting us with transport from a local train station. If they have the availability, do not hesitate to book!

Nina was a wonderful host, and the cabin is cosy and gorgeous. The garden is completely private and enclosed - perfect for dogs. There was nowhere for the dog to escape. Great to be able to light a fire, felt like posh, warm glamping. Great facilities, including a gas hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave.

My partner and I stayed here 14th-17th April 2025. We wanted to get away for a few days, somewhere quiet and secluded where we could relax and recharge. And the place did just that. Beautiful surroundings. Frankie and Jonathan were very lovely, welcoming and friendly, always on hand should we have needed them. Even had to ask if they had paracetamol one evening, and they brought it over for us, thank you. The cabin itself was gorgeous, and the hot tub was divine, and they had it ready for us every evening. Everything was catered for, tea, coffee, cereals etc. We will definitely be coming back for if you’ll have us. 10/10.

Thank you so much Martin. We all really enjoyed staying at yours - it was perfect. So clean and homely despite being made amazingly guest ready. Martin was a proactive and friendly host who was so sensitive to our needs (as we'd been through a difficult time as a family). Instructions were thorough. clear and helpful. Check in and check out was as flexible as possible. We also appreciated the bottle of bubbles as well as all the other basics like tea, coffee, etc. Martin's additional info on getting to & from our evening entertainment/venue was invaluable & beyond helpful. What a lovely cottage. We instantly felt at home and didn’t want to leave. Cosy bedrooms with comfortable beds. We were very impressed of the well stocked kitchen. It had everything you could need. Great host and very responsive. We will definitely come back at some point. Thank you Ben…😊

As always, The Pony House was a perfect accommodation for my wife and I. Peaceful, private, and well kept. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Greeted by a very friendly and welcoming Daniel who showed us how everything worked and was helpful with local pub recommendations - instantly felt at ease and welcome into this beaut of a cottage. Hot tub was fantastic and private garden was a haven of calm for the weekend. Cottage was cosy, practical and very modern space with everything you need. Would highly recommend and will deffo be back 100%

Sally and Josh have been welcoming and amazing hosts. We arrived late and they had stocked the fridge up with bread, milk and eggs which was so thoughtful. The annexe was ideal for my family, countryside surroundings and short drive to Godalming and getting onto the motorway. The house has a lovely, cosy feel, I enjoyed cooking as the kitchen was well equipped. A very comfortable and happy stay and will be staying again soon! Thank you both!
