The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Please Google or read the description in the photos of what a bothy is. If expecting a five star hotel do not stay here. Bothy with a comfy bed. One up from camping. enjoy the beauty and simplicity of the Strath Oykel scenery. A gas stove and a loo with a view. The Bothy benefits from a fire pit to enjoy sundowners and northern lights from, looking onto a loch. There is also a log burner for those chillier evenings. Bring drinking water and food. Everything else should be there.

We are a working Croft in the heart of the highlands overlooking Loch Shin, with views of Ben More Assynt. Where a warm welcome awaits you. Come and explore what Sutherland has to offer from walking, canoeing and cycling to fishing and a good game of golf all within easy drive. Spend the night in either Whisky or Skipper. One of our pods named after our dogs. Take a seat on the deck with a cuppa or a glass and watch the world go by.

New luxury glamping pods opened on the 1st of June 2022 on a working croft minutes away from beautiful Loch Migdale, Bonar Bridge and close to the NC500. A quiet location ideal for walking, cycling, paddle-boarding/kayaking, fishing, star gazing and enjoying the outdoors. There is a golf course nearby and for rainy days there are cafes, a gym and soft play in the local village.
